Sorry to see you go, OP. I can't say I wouldn't be doing the same thing if I were you.

LiteBrite just did a video showing their new WildTrak, and you can see that Kevin is pretty disappointed with the interior:

So make sure you get the edition/version/trim level that seems a little nicer!

Test drove a 23 two door badlands with a hard top. Loved the look, eruption green! First disappointment was the tail gate swings out and not down (reason I got rid of my JK), duel gate functions would have sealed the deal for me. Second disappointment was the interior wind noise even with a hard top, $60k and that issue, no! Been down the IFS road and to me it is quite limited. I will choose a solid front axel over IFS anytime period. All and all i feel my rubie is better in fit and finish than the Bronco, just my opinion. In time Ford will work out the issues maybe not. I’ll be keeping my JT 😉

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
I actually bought my Gladiator because needing a new 5.4L motor for my '09 F150 every 70k miles seemed a little unreasonable. Hope your Bronco treats you better than that.

Bronco's don't have pickup beds. Who died and made this a Bronco forum. Besides, I just got rid of a 2024 Silverado I owned 3 months for a used 2021 Gladiator. I could not be happier. I am sure the Brono forums are full of complaints too.

I have yet to see a Bronco not tripod on somewhat easy trails in Co, its almost like a feature. Despite that, I have seen them do quite well with the harder obstacles in Moab and Sand Hollow sand but its still a Ford ;) I do like the look. Good Luck!

My wife and I have a bronco and a JLU (I’m in delicate negotiations on a JT at the moment, super excited!)

Comfort/driving: The bronco drives nice, like an suv. My Jl is built for off-road so now it’s no comparison, but when it was stock it drove almost as nice as the bronco and I put a bunch of miles on it in stock form. The solid front was almost invisible.

On the highway the bronco is loud as hell and it leaks at odd times and places. It seems like water gets into the roll cage and when braking and turning that water finds a way out, usually when you’re dressed nicely for dinner. The jeep is much better in the noise and watertight department.

Interior: No contest. The bronco is as cheesy as it gets with miles and miles of plastic. It feels like a cheap rental car. The seats however are more comfortable on long trips.

The instrumention is horribly laid out, drives me insane. This is something Jeep did very well.

Love the tailgate strut configuration. It blows Jeeps whatever the hell thing they use out of the water.

No cup holders in the rear seat area. WTF ford, you ever hear of children?

Nice and easy to take the top off the Bronco but man does it rattle and wiggle around without the hardtop on and no center sport bar like Jeep has. It’s not good.

Pride of ownership: No contest here as well. I have never, not once, given our bronco the “look back” when it’s parked. The Jeep? After 6 years I’m still like a 5 year old with a new Hot Wheels car. I still make excuses to drive the Jeep as often as I can while I try to avoid the Bronco like it will give me a rash.

Overall: Jeep wins hands down. Don’t get me wrong I’m no FCA fan boy. I’ve battled my fair share of issues and have wanted to murder an engineer once or twice but I have never enjoyed a product in 52 years as much as I have enjoyed the Jeep.

My $0.02 being a current owner of both. Good luck.

Also the Bronco's do have trany problems, and engine problems. I'll stick with the JT.

Sounds like you just drew the short straw and got a bit of a lemon. Aside from the cheap aux battery having issues in the beginning, my 21 Mojave has been flawless. Good luck with Ford.

I have no opinion on Ford quality, but I can’t say I blame you. The Bronco is a nice looking vehicle. Good luck, hope it works well for you.
Not that nice looking. Jeeps look better

Exactly... I kind of like the rugged look of the gladiator and the top comes off... Were the driving factors when I got the Gladiator and I had good luck with Jeep in the past. But if I was going to buy a ford it'd be this over over the bronco. That while talking about looks... why does the Bronco front end remind me of the cartoon-ish FJ Cruiser front end.
Also reminds me of a bullfrog
