I would hope that after all of these years, the OP and others have this figured out by now. Original post is 3.5 years old, the others almost 2 years old.

Did the OP have a small power jump pack? I had to jump mine a month ago, but the power pack does work. It mentions it in the user manual. Connect to the positive terminal on the main battery and then connect to the ground on the body. It specifically says dont connect to the negative terminal.

The dealer did a battery test and both were fine. They did find some other issues that were vaccume pump related, but that tested fine.

I sometimes notice that my brake pedal is very hard after not driving a couple days. I think maybe my issue was that I wasn't pressing hard enough on the firm brake pedal.
