I like the way you think. The interior side panels are removable with a few screws and I can always insulate later. I like that the panels are removable, so I can run wiring, electrical panels, and lights later also.Do you need to add anything? I'm wondering what your R value would be just by your carpeted interior panel, the air cavity and the outer fiberglass. If you can get a good seal on the interior panels to minimize draft then you might not need the extra weight and cost of the insulation at all. I was pretty amazed at how a carpeted fiberglass topper heats up just from being in it. Just a thought.
