Love that the burro is right there next to the Jeep. I woke up to a family of them about 30 yards off my tent a few years back. The male just huffed at me a few times then they moseyed on their way. I think I was camped on one of their paths. Wouldn’t think it’s that scary until you remember those suckers are mean as heck and they outweigh me by a few hundred pounds each.

If I had the cash and was going for a true expedition rig I’d go with the Rebel bobbed bed with the cap thing on it. “Expedition” to me means it’s gonna get gnarly. I’d rather have the bobbed bed and live a little smaller for the increased capability. Still have plenty of room to carry supplies for a couple weeks if you don’t need absolutely everything for a couple weeks.
