The diesel does seem like the best choice for frequent overlanding, road trips, and long commutes. I plan to do some of that but I also drive to work with it 7 min away and 30 miles per day so the diesel wasn’t the best choice for that. I also wanted a manual!

But I’m so confused, after the FarOuts being advertised as the fully loaded send-off of the diesel, I have yet to see one even close to fully loaded.
I wasn't paying attention when the FarOuts were first announced. Looks like the Stellantis press release called them out as “final, limited-edition".

Were the dealers calling them 'fully loaded'?

Just about every magazine which means that’s what Stellantis was telling them. Car and Driver, MotorTrend, etc all said it was a loaded rubicon. Some magazines even said it had full time 4WD which again wouldn’t even be in their thoughts is it wasn’t mentioned by Jeep reps.

not that journalist are always right but you can tell they were all told something a little different. Car and deiv r was told it was loaded and others it had full time 4WD. Again, if it had both of those, to me, it would justify the uniqueness and the proposed value. But when neither of those seem to be reality when delivered to dealerships it leaves me questioning the marketing

Nice find! Almost bought a Farout package but did not like the busy look of the black grill, hood and fender decal or painted fenders and top. Had to have High Velocity color found one and grabbed it 900 miles away. All the options on the Farout was always available before so found one very loaded with all the options for a killer price 25% off MSRP. Love the look of the Mopar bumper but it's steel and wanted the lighter aluminum clone. I'm surprised they did not put trail cam on the Farout packge? Only 190 Rubicon EcoDiesels left nationwide now.
Can u let me know where u got your 25% off MSRP deal? Thanks in advance.

I got my FarOut for 49k with a msrp of 77 from a Virginia dealer. Allocated/Ordered in 09/23 delivered in 12/23, I got lucky.

$28K off the $77K MSRP is crazy. Wow.

38% off the MSRP is mind blowing.

That is a record! That is the best deal I have seen. They lost a lot of that one and not sure why they went that low they could have still sold it eastly for more.

I was just curious.
Yes, despite the photo, that's the same JT 3.0 Far Out (11,000 miles)

Pretty bad now. The EcoDiesel Rubicon will be very desirable once dust settles and there are less of them in a decade. There is no finer off-road truck that is more capable and they will all want the diesel.

I’ve got a carbon metallic, I wanted the punkin, but the price just wasn’t quite there. I waited a bit and got about 20k off. Mines pretty loaded. Everything but the adaptive cruise control. I specifically wanted the trail rail system with the outlet in the back. Fortunately I was able to find one a couple hours away. Bought it in April and I’ve got 7k miles on it already!!

In our family we have 3 Jeep eco’s
2/3 have had oil leaks. Valve cover gaskets, timing chain gaskets, cam shaft sensors…. All little things and not a big deal. What is an extreme annoyance is the lack of qualified techs to work on these things…. We have 3 dealers within a 50mi radius. One has a qualified tech….. the other two cannot do anything more than the basics of an oil change (which they make a mess of….) not to mention it’s 2024 and still experiencing no eta back orders on parts. 😑

so we will see how long they last with lack of support.

To add to the OP’s topic- sarge green fully loaded far out parks here. Ordered the second day they were released delivered mid December. Only option it doesn’t have is the select track. Currently waiting new rocker arms that the techs broke when cranking after replacing cam position sensor that was faulty and leaking. 😎 (again- no eta on parts….)
