2nd button down on the right side of the screen mutes them.
The ones that are marked usually will mute them. But the ones with no markings has no effect on muting, at least the ones I go to.

I've never seen one with a mute button and it works 90% of the time.

The last time I was in Goose Creek, we pumped the glass jar full and let it gravity feed out LOL. I am just pulling your chain, I spent a lot of time in the Goose Creek and Summerville area years ago.

I have been having issues with the same thing, regardless of how fast or slow I run the flow, it will spit fuel back. I have tried to lean over and listen for the point of the fill coming up, but it is like a instant belch and gas is all over the fender. And it is at different gas stations not just one nozzle. Damn gas pumps with a TV screaming in my ear makes it harder to hear. If I wanted to watch tv at the gas pump, I would bring my recliner. But it is not just me, because I have tried different methods.. Slow, fast, nozzle location in neck but it usually makes a mess on the fender.
I know this is a slightly older post, but this šŸ‘†

Still!!!

EVERY gas station/pump I have to treat it like an old manā€™s prostā€¦ well, you know šŸ˜‰

Iā€™ll miss it when I trade, but looking forward to a JLU that doesnā€™t have that problem šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I am on my 2nd JT and neither did or do that except the 2020 did at one specific station. It's not a common thing......the internet just makes it look that way.
I can set the nozzle and walk away. When it stops, 0 kickback.

Mine did it until I quit trying to slow it down towards the top. I leave it on full chooch and let it click off on it's own. No more splashing.

Mine belched up another ten dollars worth yesterday  Fast , slow, half f-ass it pukes gas every time I fill it. I have learned to stand back, like when a drunk starts dry heaving I back up.

Make that TWO perfect JTs.
My 2020 didn't do it but that once and it was the station's stupid nozzles. It was a "low maintenance" place, you could tell, or someone didn't know how to configure their pumps/nozzles.

Like I said - the internet is where people come to gripe about problems......... and from this forum, there aren't all that many that do the splash-back thing. Only a few in the grand scheme of things, compared to the total number sold.
(if you look into how gas pump nozzles work, most of the blame rests with the nozzle.)
