There are no parts used to recalibrate the speedometer. It is done through a system reprogram with their computer.

There are sales codes for different gear ratios and tire sizes.

Remember you can buy a programmer for the same, or less, than the dealership will charge. The programmers have additional functions and can be used multiple times. The dealership is once and done, they will recharge you if you need it again after a system reset/flash etc.

Does anyone have a link to the instructions for this lift? I've Googled for 3 days now and still can't find it. I have the instructions in my crate, but I want to print some extras.

Does anyone have a picture of their rubicon gladiator with the 2 inch lift and stock tires? I want to upgrade tires and wheels latter but do not want the gladiator to look like the tires are to small.

Hey guys I just put 33s on my gladiator sport. I’m curious. How is the ride quality with the mopar lift compared to stock (sport/overland). Any big difference or does it feel the same?
Thanks!

What's the true lift of this kit, is it like the JL where people are getting 3 plus inches of lift? How bad is the rake? Wonder if I can throw a spacer on the front to even it out without too many ill effects.

After installing mine, it came out to 2.5" but that was right after I installed it and it hadn't settled yet. I need to remeasure to see where it is now. I also installed a .5" spacer on the front to help level it out, but more for the added weight of the front bumper and eventual winch.

I just finished installing this kit. It gave me 3 inches. The bump stops in the front were a pain. I advise taking a wire brush to the threads before trying to put the nut on. Looks great, I am adding spacers behind the wheels to move the 37's out a bit when at full lock. I need side steps now, I'm thinking those motorized ones. Down side is they won't protect the paint from rocks and mud from the front tires. I'm searching the net for other options as well.

Does anyone know if the lift kit plus larger wheels will be detrimental to the towing capacity of the Sport S max towing?
I know the lager wheels kill the towing capacity but I am not sure how much the 2in lift effects it

I also added the Mopar 2” lift kit and put on 35’s. I kept my factory Overland rims and put on Nitto Ridge Grappler A/T tires, LT285/75/R18.

Hello all, new to the forum. Looking at options as I await my Rubicon being released from driveshaft purgatory at the dealer. My current vehicle is a 14 Rubicon Unlimited X that I’ve modified over the years, currently sitting on a 4.5” frankenlift with 37’s. Since I have multiple sets of 37’s and only one of those will turned in with the traded JKURX, I plan to run the others on the new Gladiator. I’ve read on many forums that the Mopar lift nets between 2.5 and 3.5” total lift, yet the replacement lower control arms are designed for the advertised 2” lift. What type of Caster are you seeing once your alignment is done? Some other forums advise that the lift benefits greatly from replacement front and rear track bars, anyone finding this to be true?

I tore my JKURX apart at 29 miles to install my first lift on that vehicle, then upgraded parts as the originals wore out. Would begin stockpiling parts for the Gladiator install since It may be a while until it arrives.

Thank you for that info! I was wondering what the lift and overland rims would look like. If yours was black I would have the full example. Were you able to fit a matching spare? I haven't yanked my spare to see what will or will not fit. If I get another flat (had to buy a new tire today due to something in the sidewall) I don't want to look like a donut or cheap spare. Part of being used to the matching wheel on the back of the wranglers.

The spare rim was a 17 on a standard steel rim. I just ordered an 18 Overland rim on eBay so when I get it I’ll add the spare tire and post a pic. Seems like the spare will fit fine underneath.

Probably better on the sport. I have an Overland and it is a little bouncier than stock but the ride is still excellent and stable. Had Mopar 2" lift and put friend JL Rubicon 33's on. I like it...alot!
