A fee to use the Affiliate Rewards program. See below from Access Fund website. Dealer fees would be on top of this. What is the $75 administration fee? Is this an FCA thing or like a maximum dealer fee or something?
I bought my 2018 JL in March 2018 with Affiliated Pricing. I believe first orders for the JL were in December 2017. So roughly 4 months. About the same as the JT.Does anyone know how far into the JL sales FCA was accepted? just trying to see if its comparable.
Hey @JeepCares , just got this email, it says, " All eligible vehicle models may not be available at the time of purchase. Dodge Challenger SRT ® Demon, 2020 Jeep® Gladiator, Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, all Chrysler 200 LX models, all Dodge Dart SE models, all Dodge Viper models and all FIAT® 500e models are currently not eligible for this program" at the bottom of itAs of 8/21 the Gladiator is eligible for FCA Employee purchase program, friends and family, and affiliate rewards pricing.
I just called Affilated awards program and they are honoring the award. They also gave me a number to give to dealership to apply it to get my discount. So called the program and they will set u up.Where did this info come from? Is there anyway to confirm?

Agreed. When I bought my JK in 2008...I was employed by a company which had the affiliate discount. I got bit because I just used that and did not bother researching numbers and what "actual" invoice was. This time when I go to order my JT....I will be using the guides, spreadsheets available here on the forums to make sure I get the price I want. It's hard not to sound cynical here, but please allow me to politely suggest exercising some caution with these "discounts".
Many years ago, actual employees of Ford, GM and Chrysler could buy new vehicles at a pretty significant discount. To prevent employees from making money reselling, the number of vehicles they could buy was very limited and they actually got an employee card which they presented to the dealer to get the discount. Well, dealers started to complain because they didn't like selling vehicles at such a steep discount. Thus, so-called "employee discounts" became more and more watered down.
A friend of mine was married to the daughter of a retired GM employee. Several years ago he bought a new Chevrolet truck and used his father-in-law's "Employee Discount". When it was said and done, my friend said he could have easily negotiated a better price on his own.
I know a few people who have purchased new Mustangs and F-150 trucks using the Ford "X Plan" discount. Here again, in the end, they could have done better without the "discount".
The Jeep Gladiator is a somewhat special case since, currently, most dealers are holding fast at MSRP or even above MSRP. So, if you can get such a dealer to drop their price below MSRP using an FCA discount, cool!
However, these discounts can be the "illusion of a discount". This means you cannot typically negotiate your best price, then pull out the discount code and get an even lower price. And we must be careful about "invoice" because a dealer can make an "Invoice Price" to be whatever they want it to be. Invoice doesn't really mean dealer cost, so it can and does vary. Some dealers will actually give buyers a great deal and say it's a certain percentage below invoice. Cool! Other dealers might claim they are doing the same, but the deal may not be so great.
I really hope the discounts mentioned in this thread can actually help some people get a better deal on a new Gladiator. But to reiterate, just be cautious about it. Do your research and check all numbers carefully.
Well its not just the west coast dealers that are doing that. Dealers here in central Florida are just as bad. I trip to North Carolina for me early next year is looking more and more likely.^^^
I agree but this should really help those who live on the left coast where dealers seem to be trying to sell at MSRP or above.
Getting 1% below invoice without the usual BS is pretty nice for those people...
