There's mo elfin' way I'd have put myself where Matt did in front of the wheels while the wing nut was at the controls and engine running!
The owner was not there. His son was behind the wheel of the Gladiator.

Sometimes I think this is prestaged. Matt grabs a buddy's JT and drives it to a spot where it looks bad. Then starts to video the recovery.

I've been on tougher trails than that when I was still stock.

I did almost the same thing with the valve stem. Mine didn't lose any air. But a piece of the metal tip is missing. It's bad enough that I can't use a pressure gauge or air hose.
He sure went out of his way to do it.

The guy needed more momentum and some good old lack of give a damn. He would have got out of there with some damage but probably got out of that situation. I am wondering if the swaybar is disconnected. I drove mine of the dirt version of that same first obstacle and was fine other than the rear bumper scraping once all four time reached the bottom. I wondered whether it would have even scraped if I would have kept the swaybar connected because the JTR wouldn't have been sitting as flat

they wouldn’t be stuck, if it was a Mojave. ;-)

Mojave’s are never stuck in recovery videos.
Yeah..........because they never go anywhere to get stuck.

Rubi's are never stuck. Just slowed down.

Say what you want about how he ended up there but there isn’t another pickup on the market as capable as a JT Rubicon. The fact that he could drive it out of there bone stock is a testament to it…

I thought the exact same thing when I watched it this morning.

Someone in the comments mentioned carrying spare valve stems you could install from the outside. I never heard of them. Anybody know anything about them?
