That's what I said and our Rep confirmed this

Soooo is there a succeeding P/N? How can you discontinue a main safety component for a current production model?

My wife's Grand Cherokee has a recall on headrests, maybe they're transitioning the Gladiator to new parts too.

None that I see. I should clarify its not in current production, The last year this specific part was used was 2023 I believe. Something changed along the way.

Well I got the news from Katzkin today that they will cut the Mojave drivers seat and do the rest of the seat stuff as normal. I think I am going to proceed with this.

Hi again @AllMoparParts.com - I really appreciate your assistance with this.

https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-front-seat-back-foam-left-68368296aa
This link for the back foam piece shows up to a 2023, is there a part number change for 2024 and up? Katzkin asked me what year of Mojave foam I will have.

https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-driver-presence-detection-module-kit-68624327aa
This link for the bottom foam and kit shows 2020 to 2026.

I also wonder if there is a part number for the back of the seat plastic panel as shown below
against the grey leather?

Thank you so much!!

Yes changes were made from 2024+ so I avoided this model and used the previous generation before overhead airbags was a thing.

Seatback panels are all Black and are the same for left and right. Here is a link to them

Please let me know if you have any other questions at this time.

Thank you,

Has anybody here actually gone through with this upgrade yet? I really need to be sure I'm not missing anything as it needs to be a one and done deal. I only plan to upgrade the drivers seat and order custom Katzkin leather for the Jeep. The price for these parts in Canada are double the US prices, it's nuts.
I too am looking for confirmation that we can swap Mojave foams onto non-Mojave seats. THe seat frames are different part numbers, but I can't imagine theres that much of a difference.

Mojave foams and Katskinz would be hella cheaper than finding Mojave takeoffs.

Thank you again Benny! I really appreciate your availability and quick reply on this.

I will say the Mojave seat is from a 2023. I am happy to see I don't have to buy the upper cloth to get the back panel as this saves some cost and there is also the issue that my dealership could not get an ETA for that one item.

*Edit to add that this part shows for 2024 and up models. What is the part number for the 2023 model? Thanks!!

Interesting about the frame, Benny had confirmed earlier in this thread that the frames are the same. Could you please share the part numbers you have?

Katzkin initially said they cut fronts in pairs, they've kindly agreed to make the odd couple for me for a very reasonable fee. Much cheaper than doing both seats, I don't have a regular passenger to consider so this is the most affordable route for me. Katzkin also informed there would be no extra charge during the installation to swap the butt and back cushions.

I'm thinking to go with the Coffee brown with grey stitching.

Holy crap, I was just quoted nearly $800 for that back panel then reduced to $500 at my local dealership.

So I called another dealership and used the VIN from my 2023 Mojave that I should have kept and the parts guy came back with

https://store.mopar.ca/oem-parts/mopar-front-seat-back-panel-6cd99tx7ad

What a crazy price difference from the US. This is getting so expensive trading it in might be better...

Everything is also on back order, so who knows if it will ever arrive, I could be waiting months.

Benny would know better than I. When I look at parts lists theres 3 different groups of front seats for each model Gladi, and theres nothing describing whats what. All I see is different part numbers for each of them, but they might be the same physical part.

Well my totals are in, just over $3000 from Katzkin and $1400 for parts (this is Canadian $$). Then a 600 mile round trip, hotel for a night, there's another $400. So at almost 5k and I am not %100 percent certain everything is going to work.

So I have bailed on this Mojave seat swap parts venture. I can't afford to have it not work properly. The Jeep is my only vehicle and having to travel to get this done is just too much risk.

Probably be cheaper to see if there’s a wrecked one somewhere sitting in a yard or at a 4X shop to see if there are any take offs. Be easier to just do a full swap too. Just be a few bolts and wrestling everything in and out.

I looked around with no luck. The challenge with seat from a wreck are deployed airbags and seat structural integrity. Be great to find one that a tree feel on while parked with intact seats!
