Hi,

New Jeep Gladiator owner and looking for seat covers for the front.

From the feedback, it seems like no one has anything bad to say about the Bartact (except the price).

The Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Front seat covers (57747701) look similar and are half the price. Any one have any experience with these?

For those that have the Bartact rear seat covers w/center armrest (i.e leather interior). Are the Cup Holders still usable or do they get covered up?

Thanks.

Just throwing this out there and if I’m incorrect I apologize. The Gladiator has side airbags in the seats and if break-away seams aren’t present in the seat covers then there would be a serious problem in the event of deployment. I’m envisioning the bag deploying, trapped by the seat cover and effectively launching the driver forward and to the center of the dashboard where there is no airbag. Ouch.

Per their web site: "***BEGINNING IN 2018, ALL NEW SEAT COVERS WILL HAVE AIR BAG OPENINGS, EVEN FOR NON-SRS AIRBAG SEATS DUE TO LIABILITY CONCERNS."

Per who's website?
There are references to several seat cover vendors within this thread.
Lol, good point, that was from the Bartact web site.

That's what I get for looking at multiple seat cover threads at the same time.

Interested in covers myself. The Carhartt type seem so far to meet my needs. But wanted to see if there where any options that do not cover up the back of the seat?
