Don't give up! I hear ya. I ordered 4/26 revised from Granite LE to Black loaded spec on 5/2. June 2nd estimate has come and gone.
Just a bit of information. My Jeep JKUHR order 3 years ago took 4 weeks on an established assembly line.

Thank you for the pep talk.

I hope you get some good news soon buddy!

Man if I had changed my color to get it faster and it still took forever I'd be furious. I mean I am antsy for mine already but that's next level frustrating.

If my white Rubi order spends much longer in D I'm likely to cancel and reorder after Sting Gray becomes available.

Well, the good news is that I have a VIN now and according to FCA Chat, it is currently in D status.

:)

Bad news, is that I goofed up on the order and didn't realize that in order to get the rear underseat storage, I needed to order the Cargo Management Package. FCA Chat told me I needed to speak with my salesperson and my salesperson said it's too late to add it to the order. So hopefully, there will be some aftermarket options. I'm also gonna miss not having that electrical plug in the bed. Really planned on using that quite a bit.

:(

anybody else have this special scheduling condition on their equipment listing? Once you get a build sheet from cryptostickers email. go to their site and click on the build sheet link and it takes you to a jeep site with an equipment listing....

Yeah, I wonder what that is?
I’ve seen it on other build sheets. I think it has to do with custom sold orders and not dealer pre-specs.

Just got a text from my sales person at dealer. I’m in KZ status now, and they are expecting it to arrive in the next 2-3 weeks! Also found my window sticker online now! Wahoo!

Do you get an email that the tracker is updated when your window sticker is live like when you do when the build sheet is there? Or do I need to keep checking it?

Customer Care
@JeepCares please pass this along to leadership at FCA. You guys can really improve customer satisfaction with the order process and avoid a ton of phone calls and chat messages by doing these things...

1) Explain to us how orders are actually sequenced for build.
  • It makes no sense how some orders, with same options as other orders, are magically advanced to the front of the build queue while others sit in "D" status purgatory.
  • Implement a process to proactively reach out to customers who are waiting any given stage more than 2 weeks
2) Set up a website where those of us with a VON or VIN can go and log-in on our own and get:
  • Order Recap (option by option)
  • Up to Date Status - basically check off each stage of the process that's been completed
  • Provide current stage status (# of days in current stage)
  • Include all the REASON CODES, SCHEDULED / UNSCHEDULED, BUILD / BUILT, TRAFFIC codes (highlighted 5 posts above)
  • Estimate Shipping Date
3) Provide general updates (a centralized website is fine) weekly to those of us waiting in the build queue:
  • Supplier delays on certain optional items (and time expected to wait)
  • Factory updates (i.e., added 3rd shift schedule on X/Y/Z date to produce an extra -,--- number of vehicles)
  • 3rd party delays (i.e., bed liner team is backed up by 2 weeks...adding new staff to team next week)
4) Allow us to edit existing orders
  • Allow us to remove optional items that are delaying an order from being completed.
  • Completely understand why you shouldn't be able to ADD items to an existing order...but don't understand why I can't subtract options if my order is sitting and waiting. That particular option may not be worth 6 weeks of waiting to me...give me a choice in the matter.

It's almost worse to offer a fully custom order process that you can't reliably manage and execute...verses doing what other manufacturers do...simply offer a set # of trim levels and option combinations and just crank those out for consumption.
You had me until number 4. That should be dealer contact, "Hey, John salesmen, I saw my steel bumper is holding things up. Let's modify that on the order."
@JeepCares so like the VOTS that was taken down in 2015ish. Just add the disclosure this is for information purposes only. Don't assume delivery at the assembly plant. LOL Yes I know it happened.
Hi 2020 SCRAMBLER and Bruski51,
Thank you for making these suggestions. We are always happy to read them and take them into consideration. I will have your requests and suggestions noted in our system for the appropriate teams to review. We're always looking for ways to improve so as always, we welcome any suggestions you may have for us.
