I'm going to join y'all's club. I ordered from Covert on 12/4 and they said they wouldn't submit the order until 12/7. I contacted Jeep Chat on 12/9 to confirm the order had been accepted and got my VIN. Covert told me to expect a 70-90 day wait, so I promised myself I wouldn't start bugging them for status updates for at least two weeks, which is almost up.

Mojave: bed liner, both safety, gorilla glass, cold weather, aux switch, tow, 8.4 Uconnect, Black freedom hard top with headliner
Welcome to the club(s)!
70-90 days? Ouch. Was hoping to see mine mid January, but haven't seen or heard any movement yet. I did get my VIN within a week, so it's a thing.
Curious as to why you got the cold weather group living in Texas? Unless you have a wife like mine that saw that option as I was building my Glad and said "oh heated seats sound nice" :)

I am in Wisconsin and ordered a Sport S on December 8, dealer told me March or April, ouch! I have a VIN but don't expect much change for a while but I still check every day! I got the diesel, hardtop, switches, GGlass, cold weather (Wisco) and proximity. Not sure how any of that plays in to this but will be interesting to follow and see when others are built. Hope you are way ahead of 70-90 days!

I updated with my information! Lake Jackson Tx area. They told me 90+ days on 11/17, longer since I got the duel doors.

Hey KX, when did you order? I just ordered last week (Sport S, diesel) and did choose the GGlass option as I figured a couple hundred bucks was good insurance...I hope.
Shawn, I ordered 22 Oct 21.

I spent Jan-Mar of 2019 in South Padre Island in order to escape the winter cold. On the island to 100 miles inland it was OK but by no means the warm weather I expected. Used the heated seats and handgrips on the Harley almost daily. Had to fire up the RV heater every morning. I also think the cold weather group will definitely increase the value of the vehicle if you want to sell/trade in.

I'm going to be so happy to have the dual doors but the extra wait because of them sucks.

Mostly it is because heated seats feel great on my back. I don't have a 'bad' back, but it is where I carry all my tension and I use mine year round as needed. Now I won't do without them if I can at all afford it.

My last vehicle made me a convert on the heated seat issue. In order to get other things I wanted, I had to get heated seats as part of the package. I specifically told the salesman, "I'm not paying for that. I LiVe iN TeXAS. My seats are heated 3/4 of the year for free." Salesman insisted I'd love them, and I just dug in my heels that I'd never, ever ask for or pay for those. I was a real a-hole about it too. They finally knocked some more off the price and I took my ridiculous seat heaters home. And...uh...yeah, turns out he was right and here I am, paying for heated seats.

Put deposit down on 12/11 to ordered my JT Willys diesel, (still bummed not manual) Sarge green, LED light, Aux Group, tow package & technology Group. pretty simple but so expensive. yikes !! I'm in Texas but ordered through Gupton 6% under invoice financing through them for at least 7 months I think and easy to work with. Renee was great! No one around Houston could match it or come close. So I guess I just wait and see when I get a ven # to look it up.

If I use Treadlightly does that guarantee that I can purchase 1% below invoice?

My dealer said that I needed to wait until the truck made it to them before any money off or financing could be determined. :-(. That's disappointing. But a lesson learned I guess. This is my first Jeep and first built vehicle. Any suggestions for me when I talk to my dealer?
