My new 2026 JT Willys used to show the current fuel economy. It disappeared, came back for a short while, and now seems gone forever. Our 25 JT did the same thing. Probably an over-the air update or something. My wife's JL shows it all the time. Anyone know the secret to program the current mileage readout on a JT o it will stay on all the time?

I can't answer your question directly but for what it's worth, there must have been some update as you mention, since my system suddenly changed in some odd ways. I was getting a message that there was an unknown Android device (yes, I have an Android phone) and that still worked as usual. Then, when I press my media thing on the touchscreen, it goes to some internet news or something and I have to press FM to get back to my regular radio stations. There are a few other things also that have changed such as it no longer recognizes my wife's Android phone when she gets into the JT. Odd stuff. But as you mention, probably some update that resets things to the past or something.

When listening to Pandora, after I disconnect from a phone call the music is garbled. Radio off and on, problem solved. Every time, not random.

If I get out of my JT while it is running and have the keys in my pocket (which I rarely do, I just leave them in the console), yes, the horn does sound 3 times.

Probably a setting I can turn off somewhere.

Unfortunately no setting, only a Tazer can disable it

I have this happen with my 23 all the time when I get out while engine running and I shut the door. ….dont shut the door, but this doesn’t mean it has to be wide open either. Close it but just have the door resting shut and the horn won’t go off.

If you close the door to the first click it won't sound the horn. The problem is that I always forget and close it normally...

My 2024 did that for a while…. Maybe a year or so …. It’s been good and stayed there for probably a year now. Knock on wood!

Are you still under warranty?

Still under warranty. I’ll ask the dealer if there is a software upgrade. I had a 25 JT that did the same thing. I am going to do a trial on my wife’s new 26 JL to see if it does the same thing also. I’ll post results here.

For mine, on that screen, going left and right on the screen control button pad on the wheel toggles between two nearly identical versions of this screen, and the only difference is that one shows current MPG and the other does not.
