I think this question ties into this thread well enough. A 2" Mopar lift allows 35s or even 37s. Are you all buying 4 or 5 larger tires for the Gladiator? 5 were standard on Wranglers since the spare was on display. 4 does just fine appearance-wise on the Gladiator.

35s fit between the frame rails fully inflated. 37s reportedly fit between the frame rails with a little air let out. So, fitting a 35 or 37 shouldn't be the issue. I have Discount Tire run a 5 tire rotation on my Wrangler every 4k miles. Will they rotate 5 tires even when one is tucked under the truck?

So, what are all of you doing ... 4 or 5 purchased (what size) ... and 4 or 5 rotated?
I've always rotated 5 tires also. The small issue is the spare does have a real rim with the tire pressure monitor system in it so it makes rotating all 5 an issue unless you buy a 5th rim and have the tire pressure system installed on it. I wish it came from the factory like this..

Are all of the black Rhino wheels affected by rusting and prone to bending or just the Armory model? This my preferred wheel. My buddy has these on his wrangler and has sent back the Amory's for rusting already but no issue with bending.

Stock tires and LE wheels. Going to wear them out and then move to 35's or put a Superchips piggyback ECU on and get 37's. If you do go big the PCM needs to be recalibrated so either find a dealer that will do this for you or go with an aftermarket tuner.

Totally agree with you on everything, especially the angry grille. When the grill is replaced with the angry eyes, they change the iconic look of the seven slots. Hate that. Also, you can buy just the angry eyes. Hate them too. It’s Jeep not a human. It’s like, look how mean my Jeep looks. My wife likes them and that bothers me, lol.
I was always told jeeps were so narrow because they were purpose built to navigate close quarter trails in forests and between rocks.

So it seems odd to me you would extend the tires outside of the fenders effectively making it wider and negating the design. But I have also seen lowered jeeps which make even less sense. Obviously those designs are not part of such owner's purposes.

Maybe I'm just a traditionalist, but I don't care for those "angry grills" either. That original Jeep grill is such an iconic design element, to significantly alter it in the name of fashion....just seems wrong.

But it is your jeep so do with it what you will. I don't have to like it and you don't have to care what anyone thinks. Just an opinion.
ly agree with you on everything

Love this wheel and tire combo. Can you tell me the specs on both. Really like the Black Rhino wheels.

This works great for me. Great ride on the street and very capable off road. 2” Mopar lift, 315 70R 17 K02s on Ion 171 17x9” wheels. Scored 750 on the Metal Cloak trailer!
