I was in Ohio for a wedding Memorial Day Weekend, drove over to the plant on Monday and they were working. Employee parking was full and lots of trucks coming and going. Saw a few Gobi Gladiators in the lots around the plant but not as many as I was hoping to see.

They call that air drying? ? I got nothing, except maybe some possible damage and they had to have them removed from the line and inspected.

There were a lot of them, more than twice what we got in that picture.

its possible they had a defect and are scrap. my buddy works at bmw and says they will scrap them quickly at that stage before they get farther down the line

Got the notification Saturday the my Gobi Rubicon was at Gupton. Have to wait until the 10th to fly in and pick it up. Going to take the scenic route back to Florida and explore Tennessee a little. Once back I have to start switching all the good parts/wheels off my 21' Firecracker before I sell it with the new stock bumpers and wheels.

Picked up mine today at Cross Jeep in Louisville. Best Jeep place around. They even put mine in the showroom with a custom sign

Picked up my Gobi on 5/25 on my way to Florida for vacation. So far I'm loving it with a little over 500 miles in the past 3 days! The 2 month wait was worth it. I do have a question though if anyone could answer it. I opted for the upgraded stitched black leather seats. My Dash is trimmed in grey vs red. I thought the black leather package you got the red dash trim? I'm only asking because I actually do not like the red trim package and was super happy to see I got the grey trimmed dash. I'm not sure if I missed the change in trim package or did they mess up on my order? Either way, 100% satisfied with the outcome.
