Gobi Gladiators Waiting Room

I put in an order on 3/15, still in Scheduling. I think that seems reasonable in logistically challenged environment. I would just appreciate timely updates with reasonable advanced notice of delivery so I can have near a 3 week window to sell my current rig.

So, will any finger foods and drinks be set out while we wait?

My coworker ordered his Gladiator about the same time I did, equipped the same except I added the front trail cam, and his is granite crystal. His is at the dealership waiting to be picked up.
So I'd say the production by color theory is pretty probable

FYSA. Looks like Jeep build website added Gobi as color option.

Nice. Its too bad the Gobi color on the Jeep site does't do that color any justice. In person its just something else. I had a 2017 JK in Gobi and it was amazing what different shades of light did to the color. Just so in love with it.

It’s clear to me that the only holdup JUST HAS TO BE the painstaking effort that Stellantis undoubtedly undertakes to mine the Gobi Desert for the quintessential essence which makes up the Gobi color. There can be no other reason for such a delay or the warranting of Gobi’s premium pricing over all other colors.

Me too. When I talked to Chat Friday they said check back in five or six weeks! Hell I plan on having racked up some miles on it by then.

Really? They've been telling me it's scheduled to build "shortly" for two weeks. I think Jeep has a different concept of time than the rest of us Homo sapiens. It's been five weeks since I ordered mine. Maybe they will actually build it "shortly".

Well, damn I ordered bright white (sorry I got on the Gobi thread). You'd think that color would be the most common because it's free, but maybe not everyone is as cheap as me.

I figure they just happened to be building sting gray when he ordered. His was built within a week of order, at arrived at the dealership 36 days later.

Hello,

I just placed an order for Gobi Rubicon Diesel today! Optioned pretty well but I forgot to include the mopar Rubicon steel 3 pc bumper. Fail. Oh well, if anyone in So Cali area is selling, let me know.

picked up @ Tuttle-Click Irvine from Rob, 2% below invoice w/ Tread Lightly. Overall a super easy experience.

For what it’s worth, my dealer was able to change my order after the fact to pull off the gorilla glass. So, if you’re still wanting that bumper, you could check if they can append the order with the addition. I’m assuming your order is still in scheduling just like EVERYONE ELSE.
