What a ludicrous price for something that will get a few seconds of use here and there, at low speed and only needing short range. On my JK I had just installed cheap floods in the back. Haven't decided what to do on the JT, but any $10 will do the job back there.

I have Vision X cannons on the front, that's where quality and projection matter.

I've been sort of holding off seeing if QT would drop the version that would allow dual control. About at the point where I no longer want to wait. I'm assuming you'd tap in to the trailer wires for one of those "ins"?
Or it appears Rigid already makes it. https://www.rigidindustries.com/sr-m-sr-q-backup-kit-harness-40192.html

Maybe call up VisionX, maybe they will make ir for you. Their standard 2 light harness is $45, if they can sell this rverse two input harness for $100 they will prob be happy you told them.

They really don’t look that big in practice once installed. I’ve never noticed it ever.

Damn, I like that part of the reflector stays in place!

how did you leave the reflector? did you buy the regular ones for all vehicles instead of the Gladiator ones?

or did I read that he used reflector tape, that looks like some nice reflector tape

Yep. One is from the backup light on the trailer wiring and the other is from the aux switch. I have one I just haven’t had time to wire them in yet. 2020 has been a busy year for me so almost all of my projects are being neglected. I work at Ft Campbell in KY in Family Medicine and between multiple deployments and Covid we have had quite the baby boom there.

I used 3M reflective tape installed on the Vision X brackets. I like how it turned out, and it keeps it legal since the LED taillights don’t have any reflectors in them.

Anyone have these around Phoenix, in particular the east valley? I'm curious about doing a side-by-side with the Baja Designs kit.

That will work, but so will any chinzy little pair of diodes for a buck.
As long as they have the same current capacity. Your generic $1 diodes are usually 1 amp, which is about 12 watts. The cheap lights I had on the back of my JK were 7w each, so over an amp for both. Check the power specs on the lights.

That kit comes with a relay. Just use the diodes on the feeds from the switch and reverse lamp to the relay- almost no current. Personally, I'd prefer to use a SPDT switch, one side to reverse and dome light (with diodes), the other tied to accessory power. That way they'll come on with reverse, door open or unlock and manually.

Any particular reason you'd tap the dome light? I'm not particularly a fan of getting 4k lumen to the face as I approach from the rear... makes it impossible to see anything around the truck unless you have area lighting too.
