You guys planning to pay cash, get a loan through Gupton or lease?

Gupton has been great so far! Cant decide if I’m going to lease again or finance with Gupton.

It’s great getting the price out of the way and their doc fee is low compared to what dealers charge in my state. Just wish I knew what financing terms and lease terms looked like. I have an idea from Edmunds on money factors and residuals on leases but nothing set in stone yet.

Same with my trade. Uncertain if I will trade it into Gupton or sell to a local dealer! Gupton was honest up front saying they won’t have much room on trades when they are selling the Gladiator at these prices.

I'm going to finance thru them for the extra 1% off. If FCA still has 36 month and 0% that's what I'll go with. Daniel said that was fine.

I will do the same on financing. Going to see what they have through their sources (or if the 0% FCA deal is still on) and decide then.

Will discuss a trade too, but figure I can get a better deal through Carvana/CarMax - although it might be easier to trade with them instead of getting a rental to get to Nashville to pick up my Gladiator.

Exact same here, but already did the deed with Carmax:) I'll decide whether the dealer financing for 1% is worth it when I get there, otherwise, Chrysler Capital incentive.

I was looking to order a new Wrangler/Gladiator and came across Gupton. They offer 6% below invoice price with an additional 1% below invoice if you have an FCA Control Number. Just like Tri-City and Peterson they also offer an additional 1% below invoice if you secure your financing with them. So with the control number and financing the discount is 8% below invoice. DOC Fee is $399. Ask for Daniel. They are locate in Central Tennessee. Hopefully this helps out some of you!
didn't remember hearing Gupton when i was looking a year ago.. thanks for letting us know.

In the process of ordering from Daniel at Gupton. Is a 1k non-refundable deposit normal for new orders? Also, they don't take cc deposits over the phone only via a link? I know dealers vary but just double checking as my brother ordered a new JL last year from another dealer and it was a $500- refundable deposit and my subaru new factory order was the same a few years ago. I mean, doesn't matter to me how my deposit is collected & I don't have any plans to cancel my order but an extra peace of mind would be nice in case of unforseen stuff.. Is this normal business practice?..

I’ve gotten two quotes from TriCity Jeep in NC, one in Aug and another in Sep (on a still unfulfilled order... gotta loosen my wallet!). Aug had a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and Sep was $500 non-refundable, no credit card, cash/check/equivalent only or debit card over the phone.

Non refundable, but I have bought two Jeeps from them in the past and the prices are very transparent. You know exactly what you are paying when the truck comes in.

Would be interested in hearing about the finance experience when any of you pick up your vehicles.

Interested to know if there are any additional fees. I know there is a 7.50 temp tag fee but just wondering if any of you will be charged your sales tax fee.

This has happened to me when a vehicle is financed. But then again I live in NJ

I'll let you know my experience after pick-up. I should not be charged any sales tax (for TN) since I am out of state. I will pay my MS sales tax after returning which is 5% when I pickup my tag (I have 7 days)....The only fees I will be paying at delivery is the $399 doc fee and the temp tag of $7.50. I definitely asked these questions before laying down my deposit and placing my order!

Nice! Looking forward to hearing about how it goes and seeing the new truck.
