That’s all well and good if you enjoy negotiating. I’d say 90%+ don’t. That’s why these below invoice dealers are killing it. You go online, build your vehicle to your specs, send the pdf to the dealer, they send you the price, if you agree you order. No negotiations involved.
It was such a pleasurable experience I almost bought two!?

Where is your dealer? I'm in ohio and just emailed gupton for a quote this morning
if you’re in Ohio, try Spirit Lake, IA. They’ll be closer to you than my dealer and they are real competitive. Plus, the gas savings alone should be enough reason to check with them.

I get it that not everyone wants to negotiate. Plus, I do think that it’s super cool that a few dealers have put their stake in the ground and offered forum pricing. I just initially started my reply to more or less defend a guy‘s statement that he really wasn’t seeing 8% below invoice, because it was a fact from the point of view of the information that I had seen. Still, Gupton does offer a real sweet deal and it seams pretty turn key. So, I respect that! I just took a different path for my deal that seems to be working for me.

One thing I don't care for is they don't give a price on a trade in till 2 weeks before new one arrives. I get a lot can happen between now and then but that can amount to a lot. I kinda want to know what I will save in taxes. If its low balled then I don't have a lot of time to sell.

I had to go back and look at my deal after last night because something felt off. I posted the wrong final deal, it was $1000 less than what I originally posted because I posted the wrong offer. ?

Invoice - $50,622
8% - $46,572.24
My price - $46,503
8.1% below invoice
Invoice + $499 = 47,071.24
7.12% below invoice
My price + 499 = 47,002
7.16% below invoice

This is a crime against humanity, Daniel. I demand my other .84% you owe me! Where is my $430 at?! In all reality only a ? ? would be arguing about this deal not being a deal over $430. But than again they’re probably the same person who says you technically didn’t save 15% on an item because you had to pay tax. Daniel gave me over 8K off MSRP, I’ll gladly give him the $430 to keep his business running.

I‘m happy for your savings.

To help others reconcile I’d suggest the likely reason there was an extra thousand is because the Denver Region which is a multi state region had between $1,500 and $2,000 in combined Chrysler factory cash and Chrysler Capital Financing rebate dollars available to any purchaser from around August - December, ‘21 On ‘21 Mojaves that I’m familiar with. I don’t know what it was before that. So, if you qualified, you were entitled to those discounts / rebates. However, that savings was not from Gupton but Chrysler Corp and Chrysler Capital. I’m guessing that you used Chrysler capital to finance, because their minimum amount financed is $8k which matches something I saw on your documents. I‘m in Nebraska which is part of the Denver Region and I cashed in on those rebates at that time too.

Yeah, I forgot about that.

I missed out on a $2500 Mojave incentive for SoCal while I was waiting on Gobi. Maybe the $500 Military incentive will return by the time my Mojave arrives.

That would have been a monster. Last I checked, there aren't rebates on Mojave’s in my region now, but I‘m rolling the dice that they start to bloom. Then, I can just stack them on my deal.

Yep - and that's cool.
The original guy who was complaining seemed to just want to argue.
As aceisback said, this thread was started almost 2 years ago and the numbers have changed from the title of this thread, but if you compare the out-the-door cash needed to an MSRP dealer, you can save thousands and not have to spend hours "dealing"...
We are not holding anybody's feet to the fire, just simply communicating experiences.

I picked mine up this morning and I can confirm that the rumors are true - Renee is awesome. The whole process was the best I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve bought more vehicles than I care to admit). She said they have a ton of vehicles coming in all at once (was a little stressed about it). I got there just before 8am and there was a truck almost done unloading and another showed up about 15 minutes later. I suspect several of you will be getting the call soon. I drove 500+ miles back to Texarkana today and loved every minute of it. One more leg in the morning to get home. Good luck to all of you about to make the trip.

Congrats! Now if mine could just hitch a ride down there. Nobody seems to know anything about when it will possibly ship.
