Hard Top hoist without a garage?

I was wondering.. Has anyone made or have an idea for removal/storage without a garage?

For removal I have been thinking about using a engine hoist just need to check if the height will work., I loaded a 4'X8' steel plate on to a lifted pick up truck with this.
Boom extends from 41 in. to 61-3/4 in.
Crane height adjusts from 73-5/8 in. to 89 in.

Bolt a super small, say 500lb capacity, dock piling manual davit to an exterior wall or post. Just a thought.

I used one of those to make a hoist to lift the cap onto the back of my truck. I put a piece of unistrut down the center for additional height, and weight (salt and kitty litter) on the bottom to keep it from tipping over.

I keep thinking I need to build a gantry crane to pull the top... But for the cost of wood...

You might be over engineering a solution, it’s only like 50 lbs. I just unbolt it and pick it up and then set it down.
