Please post pic(s) of these mounted...they look great!
We are currently getting them mounted on our shop build and will get them up. They are the exact same size as the stock lettering and will cover up the alignment holes that are on the tailgate.

Vinyl wrap (2 layers to get blue border) from Etsy, and Hauk lettering.

Hi everyone,

can you give me advice on how you removed the old lettering?
Thanks!

A few videos on you tube. Heat gun and vinyl tool at first. The Go-Gone for the glue. Lots of elbow grease and time.

When I removed mine, I let it sit in the sun for a bit, then used the heat gun to further "melt" the adhesive. I also used a tiny plastic pry tool to get it started so you can get the removal started. Hope that helps

I know people have been saying to use a heat gun but a heat gun is ridiculously hot and you can literally burn your paint, etc. if not used very carefully. A more forgiving and likely more available method is to use a hair dryer and spudging tool or small plastic (metal will indent/scratch underlying paint) pry tool. If you have adhesive left on your paint after removal use Goo Gone (lemon oil derived) or Oops (petroleum based) or another similar adhesive remover remembering that the adhesive remover can also remove paint so go light.

thank you. I will probably start with the hair dryer option. I’m pretty handy but I figured I might be a little dangerous with a heat gun haha

Love it. Ordered today.

I badged the front in custom lettering and rhino-lined it for texturing. Will do the same with this. Should accent nicely.
