I agree....just drive it and spend some time contemplating how you want to use it.

That will inform your decision about mods. Mall Crawler or Rock Crawler? Mild Trail Rig or Rubicon Monster? Daily Driver or Weekend Jeepin'?

At that point you can decide on what 5 mods come first based on the intended use.

Good luck and congrats on the your new JT.

Looking forward to digging in on here. First Gladiator (anvil color) but 6th Jeep overall. What are the first 5 mods I should do to this little beast?
That's up to you. You can do no mods at all if you wish. How are you going to use it should be the VERY FIRST question you ask yourself. Go from there.
others will chime in with how they would do it personally - to fit their desires and preferences.
It's your Jeep - do what fits your plans.
Will you be towing?
Off-roading?
Jumping sand dunes?
Climbing the side of the grand canyon?

I think a pile of ducks on the dash, metal high clearance fenders on stock tires, contrasting color accents everywhere, and a name on the side of the hood is where I'd start.

At least, that seems like what everyone here does.

(Not serious advice).

Enjoy your new Jeep.

Sometimes it's just hard to figure out what, if anything at all, to do.
All I can see doing with this is putting my winch on it, my front receiver, snow plow wiring and frame brackets, bed rails for tying things in place back there, tailgate ladder because I'm old with bad knees, and my 12v outlet in the bed like I had on the others........ oracle backup lights and a couple of other things - it's one of the few I've bought that I just didn't want to do much else to it.

Power steps were a MUST, a personal must, the very first thing that went on it.
Not everyone would want or need them - thus the bits that have been said - drive it a while first, then figure out what YOU want, how YOU will use it, don't let others build it for you, YOU build it for YOU.

When a first question is - "what should I do first" pops up, it often indicates someone really has no plans - and that's a bad place to start.
