How can I bring this area back to a shine - it has faded a lot

You cant tell how bad it has faded in the picture, but it's pretty bad. Any products you know that will help?

I like the new piece for $33. Then get a couple of coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions on it to protect it.
I also would have tried that first on the old one. I've had very good results with it on old bleached out looking plastic trim. Krylon makes a good rattle can for plastics too.
Many ways to do it.

I use Adam's Graphene VRT on all my trim pieces and it keeps them looking like new.

I just hit the black plastics on the truck with tire shine after im done washing the truck and before I do the windows. Works great.

Seeing this thread made me think of mine getting a bit gray. I just came in from giving my black plastic a coat of Mother's Back to Black. I know there are other products that work well, but I actually had this leftover from a couple or three vehicles back.
