I have a 2020 rubicon on stock 4.10 gears that I currently daily drive approximately 120 miles a day. I’ve been running 35s the last year and want to step up to 37s. Is it safe to run 37s on stock gears

I run 37” BFG KO2s with an AEV 2” spacer lift. BFGs run a little small which I like. The spare fits under the truck, so I can run 5 wheels and tires, rotating all 5. 4.10 gears do fine for me and I love the look of a more-filled wheel well. The 37s should run fine as a daily driver. The Spacers give the room needed for full flex.

I run 35" BFGs... 19 MPG avg. Daily driver. Wonder what the MPG hit would be?

Mopar 2" lift, Rubicon with 37 Grapplers on stock rims, and have about 15,000 miles so far.

Regearing to 4:88 this month.

No issues, just want to upgrade it a bit.

Other than that, absolutely love the 37s.

Got around 15.5 mpg - a lot of driving in town too.

Recently put a S&B intake and now I'm up to 18 mpg - so I'm curious on the 4:88 especially.

No issues but you do lose power. This was my recent trip from Albuquerque to Colorado and back.

I run 37 inch geolanders on my stock mojave with 4.10s. However I do not daily drive it. The truck looks awesome but if this was my daily I would stick to 35's probably. Especially if i had a long commute. Houston is about as flat as it gets but I still drop a gear or two on things like simple overpasses on the freeway. Finally got my mpg above 15 when I do drive it to work one day a week or so. If I really get on it to pass, etc, sometimes I'll drop to 4th or 5th gear.

Its fine till you drive one with gears. I did 5.13s and wondered why I waited to swap them out. Night and day difference.

37s and 4.10s since the week I bought it. Daily driver, no issues. Stays in the 16-17mpg range

Would a little more gear be nice? Probably but it's not worth the cost for me...(if I ever actually wheeled it I would regear)

I am running 37 inch milestar Patagonia tires on my gladiator and I did recalibrate the shift points with a Rough Country recalibration tool I can’t tell any difference in the 35’s I started out with and the 37’s I am running now it just moves right on down the road no problem and it looks better with the 37’s

I plan to re-gear my Mojave to 4.88. I found the stock 4.10 barely adequate for the stock 287/70 tires and the 315/70s I just bought really make it hunt for gears on the freeway. The BFGs I chose even run small...

I drive with a light touch and it just won't hold 8th at 70mph unless I'm completely level or going downhill. The power off the line isn't a problem, but I get tired of it dropping to 7th and sometimes 6th to hold 70mph on even the slightest grade. I have no idea how y'all are good with 37s on stock gearing.

I'm currently getting 17ish where I was getting 20+ with the stock 33s.

Well, I'm in North Dakota where you can see as far as the curve of Earth will let you. Unless you're a flat earth person, can't explain.

Rubicon JT 37” milestar MT here with 4.10 , in Cali you can feel loss of power from stock but not the end of the world so fine with me . Get about 16mpg and on trips even 17. Got a quote for regear for $1800 both axles to 4.88 with Yukon parts so maybe one day , they said if I’d like to do 39” tires then I should do 5.13’s . Overall happy and have other mods to complete before regear

haha, gotcha

I figured Texas is pretty flat compared to some regions combined with some people just not paying attention to the loss of 8th gear.

Hard to say. So many things will affect mpg. The wheel weight, and driving habits.
