HPFP Replacement Recall - Post Fix Review

Ok ok ok… I finally got mine done today. I’d like to give a history on mine because I couldn’t read everyone else’s response. My JT was giving me a CEL every other time I would get on the highway. Meaning, I would drive it, get on the highway because I live in florida everything requires a highway, get to work or destination. When done, get back in vehicle and drive back on the highway and then the CEL would come on. I have a scanner to turn it off and it’s the same code of P026C every time. Stellantis actually called me and told me, after bringing it to the dealership numerous times, that code will keep being thrown because of the HPFP. So, with that said, has anyone had the same CEL because of the recall and did you get your recall done and did the code stop? Or stop triggering a CEL code? Please let me know. I am really tired of that damn code.

When the pump went out back in 2022, they replaced the entire fuel system. Earlier this year in January, my jeep did the stutter and lost power, but was able to restart and run after sitting for about 30 minutes. I had it towed, but they said that they checked the system and did not see any contamination in the system and just replaced the pump and necessary parts for non-contaminated system.

Got an update from the dealer saying that their lead tech is "working with a Chrysler Engineer out of Detroit" regarding my jeep. Who knows what that means right now, but plan on calling the dealer tomorrow to see if they believe it is the HPFP or something else.

I’ve performed this (see pic) many Recalls so far with no complaints from any of my customers.

I was the first one in the country to do my personal vehicle and I’ve had zero issues or complaints so far.

Any chance you've heard or seen what's different? Is it pinned or sleeved to prevent rotation and failure?

Got ours done yesterday. They did the rear axle seal recall as well. Turns out the right was leaking too so that one got done under warranty. She’s right as rain now and I’ll admit to feeling a little more at ease with the pump replaced.

Sitting in a dealership in Chiefland, FL waiting for my fuel pump to finally be replaced.

Well…. I’m not exactly sure what they did. I only see 1 bolt head that looks like a socket was on it. No stickers under hood, drivers door jam or fuel door. No instructional flyer on the dash, center console or front seats.

I didn’t even get a receipt from being there or for work completed. They said they’d email it to me once the tech completed his report.

they did however confirm my front drivers side warranted shock was bad and would order one in.
