I may purchase a 2025 Gladiator Sport. I am on the fence. I am curious if anyone has any recommendations on what I should consider if I do purchase. The test drive was great and it appeared to be loaded (for the sport). Thanks for any tips.

Jeep will survive, it will be a part of either VW or Toyota. šŸ˜‰

What will you use it for? Why do you want one?

Consider it all wisely. Especially the Model AND options.

I own a 2021 Mojave. Over 60,000 miles on it now with no problems. Zero. None at all. This Jeep has been a real blessing. I can't get my wife out of it. It is now her daily driver.

The 3.6 V6 has been flawless. Oil changes every 3 to 4K miles. It idles so quiet that you almost can't hear it running.

Still on the ORIGINAL Falken tires. But I had to replace both batteries a couple months ago. Going up to 35" tires in the next couple months.

Our Mojave rides better than any car or truck my wife and I have ever owned. Seriously, it is that good.

Our Mojave was stupid expensive. But I wanted it. With that in mind, If I were buying now; I would have NOT optioned for the body color top or body color fenders. And saved myself a few grand. The fenders get scratched up anyway.

The tow package is a must have.

The hard top is a must have.

Heated and / or cooled seats I don't have, but wished that I did.

Good luck with your shopping!

I have no clue what your wants or needs are but all I can say is that with a few exceptions, it is cheaper to get what you want out the gate as a factory option than try to add after the fact.

This above is true and you can also save a lot by doing a factory order ( with your dealer or one of the two on this forum that offer great discounts) per YOUR spec and cut out junk the dealer ordered on it. You will get to watch the build process online. That can also allow you time to shop your trade in around to get the best price, if trading. Worked great for me on my 2nd JT.

Here is my Jeep Logic:

We are really happy with ours. First, I always wanted a Jeep as a "fun" vehicle. My previous fun vehicle was only used during the short non-winter season in MN--had about 2000 miles per year total. We already had a SUV, so the Wrangler seemed superfluous. Also have an old full size truck for really dirty work. The Gladiator fills the fun vehicle for sure, and the box means I can use it for stuff like gas cans I really do not want to transport in our SUV. Great in snow, not too big to drive around town, lots of options to tweak it, and different from all the other trucks you see.

I want a truck. I want/need 4wd for trips to Tahoe. I live in Marin county and everyone drives Rivians or the new Broncos. I really like the top off/door off feature and that if I am motivated I can trick it out. My wife does not like the look and says it is a car designed by committee so I may be a bad husband by my contrarian attitude.

Designed by committee is a high complement to the ā€œSwiss army knifeā€ functionality of the Gladiator. Not pretty, functional, does what it needs to do. My manual transmission 2020 on 2.5ā€ of lift and 37ā€ tires is probably my last new vehicle, not because I’m that old (not even 50 yet) or that cheap but because I don’t see anything that newer vehicles do, that I want. I might add a Hemi some day or if in the extremely unlikely case that a hemi powered JT was available, I’d buy one.

Back in 2021 my wife wasn't a fan of my new Gladiator. She said it was ugly.

Now I can't keep her out of it! It's 'her' Jeep now and she LOVES IT.
