I have never had mud flaps on my vehicles but I live on a unpaved, poorly maintained township road. Every time I would clean my Gladiator and leave the driveway it would throw mud up the side, so I decided to do something. I put on the weathertech mud flaps and fender flairs both. I will get used to the look, I am starting to already.

I am hoping I don't lose them on our camp road lol, there is about 2' of water we cross and when you break through that ice in the winter it can be nasty. Time will tell I guess

Wow they look to be effective. The mud didnt sling up, past the side rails.

Looks like they are working pretty well so far, they'll save you back fenders too, I spend a decent amount of time on unpaved roads also, and my back fenders are.....textured let's say.

I wasn't a big fan either, but with the offset on my wheels, I decided to get the Rokblokz front mud flaps only. I didn't see a need for the rears as I live in the suburbs and the roads are all paved. I bought the XL. We got some pretty good snow in the last few days and they are working perfectly for me.

Yeah I put a set of the Weathertech splash guards on as well. Those plus the Mopar running boards keeps the sides pretty clean now.

Yeah my back fenders are getting pretty beat up just from this winter already, I figured these would help protect the rear as well.

Most of that mud was just from the drive home after I washed on the way home from work. I wanted it to be cleaned when I put them on and drove super slow but still got it muddy. Was driving around yesterday and so far they seemed to really help. Although our normally muddy road is now solid ice haha so not to much splashing yet.

I'm toying with the idea of taking my fenders off, sanding them, and taking them to the LineX shop that did my bed liner. Thoughts? My hangup is how hard my bed has been to 'clean' out, I generally leave my JT regular road dirty, run it through a car wash on a nice day. I hauled some really dirt caked fire wood and spent the better part of 2 days with a pressure washer and the bed still looks dingy. I don't care, it's a truck bed, that's what it's for, just thinking do I want to hang that on the side of my truck.

I wouldn’t line-x the fenders… They’d be soooo much harder to clean and keep clean. It’ll be the same situation that you’re experiecing with the bed.

If you have black fenders and want them to look ‘newish’, there are products that you can apply (as a dressing) to make things look new & black again.

Heck….after applying ceramic coating to the body of my truck, my husband applied the same ceramic coating to the black parts (including the steal bumpers).

Leave them factory easy to clean, I have Rokblokz on my Mojave with regular sized mud flaps and with factory tires they do the trick without fender extensions, I have a 800’ uphill stone driveway and the tires love to pick up stones and toss them at the jeep, Mopar performance steps also help a lot.

After driving around this winter, I need some sort of mudflaps. I’ve looked around at many different options and can’t find anything that’s a ‘cleaner’ look.

I don’t like those fender extensions…and I hate the fact that some of the mud flaps stick out past the fenders. But, I’m guessing…if they didn’t stick out …they wouldn’t be effective.

I just haven’t found anything that I’m happy with….yet…

Mopar makes some that are lower profile and don’t stick out, don’t they?

I've got the black fenders, I was just thinking, I'm not looking for slick black factory tire shine kind of look, I'm thinking more if it'd be worth while, my back fenders look peppered like a back roads road sign, you know what I mean.

Mine keep most if not all the splatter off. Been very pleased with the weather tech and also think they look pretty good.

They mate up nicely with the Mopar running boards.
