And tell them what?
Haul a loaded trailer in there? That would be the only way to show them.
They aren't going to be able to do anything just taking it in.
It works very well with no trailer, although the transmission does hunt a lot at 60-70 mph on our hills no load.
But like always, they'll say that is how they are, and frankly, they may be correct as these run so horribly slow RPM-wise on the highway.
I mean - 1600-1700 rpm is woefully slow to make any power or torque. You can't pull anything running 1700 rpm.
They geared these for economy.
Now I' even more convinced you need to take it in.
Take it in and tell them 5000 people on a forum with Gladitors don't have trannys that act like yours.
Damn straight take in the empty trailer too and tell them to take it for a spin with yours and one off the lot.
Ask for the senior tech only, not the guy they just hired.
You post a lot, I see lots of your posts where your tranny hunts more than anyone else here.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Good luck.

I would see if you could get them to do a reset so that it will go through the initial learning process again.

Is that something that could be done via jscan? Or dealer only?

Good question, I was wondering that myself. If Jscan can do the reset, it may require the more expensive OBD device.
