What do you think it should be? This looks okay considering how much tint he's quoting to do, especially if he's using the good stuff. The entire 4 door truck, including ceramic windshield, and an entire bed cap, that's going to carry some costs.

Not sure, honestly. But more than I'm willing to spend without some other quotes. I fully intend on shopping around to see what is to be expected, then I'll make a final decision.

MSRP for the JTR alone was 61,000.... that's about normal, but then when I looked at how much the dealer mark up is for a MOPAR lift, ok-ish 37's and in my opinion some ugly wheels blew my mind. It kind of makes my blood boil knowing someone is going to buy this.

I just had my dealer install mine on my new JTR for $850 plus the alignment. And my MSRP with a lot of options was 61000, but my cost was 57000 and change.

Simple.... buy one untouched and then mod it to your liking. It takes some shopping and patience, but in the end you get what you want not what the crooked dealers are pushing.

Yeah I saw the same when I picked mine up. There's an ass for every seat. If people want to pay premium for not bothering with the work so be it. At least we have a choice with Jeep still. It sucks when the choice goes away.

That's Hendrick for you. I refuse to ever do business with those scumbags. Even before the vehicle shortage, back in 2019, I went there to buy a 2500. They had $6000 in dealer mark ups on it. $2500 for "Ceramic coating" which was b.s., the paint was flat as can be, zero protection on it. Some fabric protection for $1000, $1000 for the factory mopar rubber floor mats. They're $400 online. $1000 for some knock off LoJak service. And $500 for tint. On 2 windows. That must be some platinum infused diamond carbon fiber kevlar coated NASA grade tint to cost $500 for 2 windows. When I said they can take all that crap off because none of it was worth what they were charging the sales guy laughed in my face and said "don't like it, there's the door".

I honestly don't know how they stay in business.

Adam's Jeep around here in Northern Maryland sells these lifted and packaged Gladiator and Wranglers for similar pricing. Probably half their on lot stock is modified in some form. There is no shortage of buyers for them.

Some people just want the look and turn key buying off the lot.

Dealers are not actually crazy for doing these markups... If there is a demand why not. Look at the inflated 'market adjustments' on all this overblown off road adventure vehicle stuff.

We have a couple of dealers here in sw Pa. doing the Rocky Ridge lifts with big mark ups. When the gas drilling for Marcellus natural gas was going on. These trucks were everywhere. Now you hardly see them.
