I don't have JScan.

I lightened it up some.

Yeah, sorry. The ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) box is the big box that the rear view mirror is connected to. It houses the camera used for ACC and also Forward Collision Control if equipped. If you don’t have that box, is there another sensor on your rear view mirror?

That’s the one. What does it look like from the windshield side? Thanks by the way. Very kind of you to oblige.

That's what I would wonder - if one can see differences.
If I could add that, I would in a heart beat but it just wasn't available for the 2020 when I ordered. Maybe there was something they hadn't figured out yet and not added it until calendar year 2020.

Thanks. Yeah, that’s identical to my 2020 which doesn’t have the feature from the factory. I’m still holding out I can get the settings from someone with it that will allow me to enable it. A few weeks ago, the dealer techs told me that you couldn’t add proximity keyless entry after the fact. I installed mine two weeks ago and I’m looking forward to showing them the next time I take it in.

Auto High Beam Headlamp Control

Interesting.
I wonder what month that was added to the options list......

My son had them on his Compass - they worked fine except that street lights and certain other things triggered them. He liked and used them. My wife wanted them so we got that on her new GC.
I want them on my JT - here, the roads are hilly and winding and I'll wear out the dimmer switch flipping back and forth. You must run high beam as much as possible as the woods and tall grass come right to the road, and again, the hills and curves - deer, cows once in a while get onto the road, big animals like dogs and so on.
But there's so much traffic, spaced just wrong - highs for a few seconds, oops, here comes a car - low beam, car gone, back to high for 30 seconds, here comes another car, back to low. Seriously, I bet we flip between high and low at least 10 times or more just onthe final 7 or 8 miles home.
It's a rural hilly area and some roads have a lot of curves. A lot of wooded areas. Out-of-staters have even commented "I've never seen a place with so many trees everywhere, even in your towns:"

They worked fine on my son's Compass. We'll see on my wife's new GC.
If I can get them, I want them - even if for just once in a while.
I've had to replace the dimmer switches on at least two of my cars.......
I live in a place that sounds identical to yours. Maybe we live in the same town? Lol.

I absolutely hate this feature on most cars. It fires way to late from what I have seen. They are already around the corner and get me with a good blast of light before they detect my car and power down.

Since the JT is the Alpha Jeep, why isn't The "Auto High Beam Headlamp Control" part of the option package like the lesser 2020 JL and other Jeep models get? I wish this was currently available with the JT.
The Wrangler is unquestionably the alpha, if that's how you want to classify them, and always will be.

I need to set up a camera in my JT on a tripod or something and get a video of the drive home, especially the last 8 or so miles. It's beautiful, but you have to watch out for the wildlife, too. I heard the coyotes singing the other night - the owls were really going at it - LOUD. Deer were next to the woods next to our yard watching my wife mow.

Sounds like maybe you could be in the northern half of CA? One of my cars came from that area and the guy sent me pics, beautiful area for sure.

You probably have those real midwestern deer that can destroy a car, don't you? I hit one of these southern deer with my prius and didn't even dent my car. I know people who trashed Jeeps in Ohio with some of the bucks there.
