If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

Mojave hands-down for looks, Rubicon with actual functional vents for utility. Do agree that the sport has a clean, sleek, classic look though so I think any are just fine.

The scoop doesn't do much good even in a functional state when you are installing a snorkel though so realistically it would probably be Rubicon for what I'd actually want because summer hot.

My Mojave is on order and I will swap the hood immediately for a Sport hood. Mojave hood has fake vent, weighs a ton more (how much more, I am not sure - can't find exact info), impedes vision more, and I prefer a more clean, classic Jeep hood look. I'd rather lose hood weight when I add winch & bumper. Anyone in Michigan with a Sarge green Sport on order who wants to swap hoods (we'll need to swap cowls, too) please let me know!
Sent you a PM.........

I was under the impression neither the Mojave nor the Rubicon hood vents were functional without modifying/cutting?

That being said, I think the Rubicon hoods look fantastic.

I love the mojave hood I just wish it had some functionality to it. The rubicon looks good too and you can buy a kit to get some functionality from it I guess.
That said I think the 392 and the mojave are the same hood right? Doesnt the 392 have a functioning CAI?

I pick the Wrangler 392 hood with a functional scoop. Oh and while we are at it maybe put that nice 6.4 under my hood too!

Rubicon Hood all day long. Love that style and would make the vents able to actually move hot air out.

Mojave hood is nice though.

Maybe I'm biased because I have a Rubicon but I prefer it to the Mojave hood. I have another car with a hood scoop, and that one is functional. This always bugged me on the Tacoma TRD sports with the useless scoop...the TRD pro got the smooth hood and just looks better.

Second for me is the basic sport hood.

It would be great if they put the 392 functional hood on the diesel to help with heat, but just for looks? Meh the Rubicon is fine & the Sport looks classic/clean.

I like the looks of the Mojave hood. Though I have a problem with the fact that the scoop is fake.

I was disappointed when I found out both the Rubicon and the Mojave were non functioning. I would go with a Rubicon if it actually vented heat.
