There seems to be a decent gap along the sides, too - but the bottom is way open for sure.

This was after an hour on snowy roads ->

Ah yea I get sand and crud up in mine. I had that issue on my ram and I ended up getting some stuff on used on my kayak hatches for water seal and slotted it in there. It helped but I haven't done it on the JT

If you were about to spend $1500 on your jeep what would you do? Just asking for open discussion and day dreaming. As if we needed more distraction from jeep thoughts during work.

I am torn on what I want to do next to my Gladiator.
Was thinking bed rack.... Then thought of new rear bumper, again.... Then thought of gravity light bar. or lights. or new front bumper, again. Then found clearlidz again....

Pretty much sold right now on getting the clearlidz, so i'm really not asking what I should do next, just wondering what YOU would do.
I’d save it toward my Acu-Cab??

I think it would be adjustable shocks. This would help with the daily driven and the occasional off-roaded vehicle. Being able to specifically set the shocks to give the best experience on both, with just a few clicks, would be very much appreciated. A shock that isn’t adjustable is ok for both but not good at either. You compromise on both sides of the ball.

E-Locker then I only need to get next $1000 or so for the second one.? Part 3 would be either getting off my ass to install them or to pay someone to.??
A secondary thought might be a RTT if just $1500

I spent approximately that to order RCV front axle shafts today. I wouldn’t say I had $1,500 to spend. Rather I spent $1,500. I love my Jeep and it hates my wallet.

Based on current state and my long term plans, definitely would be looking towards wheels and tires. Nothing crazy, probably just 33s, something more aggressive.
Want to buy some nice 33’s? :)

Good choice. RCV's are nice., strong and smooth. Your Jeep loves your wallet, the hate is somehow misplaced. ;)

Thx. Good to hear. I’ve heard good things. Didn’t want to break them when these go on.

ANOTHER $1500?

Dude, I'm five grand in and haven't had a discussion about wheels, tires, or a lift yet.

Yes. They’re going on after the 3.5” lift and regear to 5.13. Steering and track bar upgrades at the same time. Waiting for parts. Hopefully January. Decided to add axle shafts at last minute, after lifting those tires.

Get some spicer chromo's for the rear if you can, cheap insurance. You can keep the stockers for spares. Did you go FAD or no FAD?

Edit: Get some Spicer ball joints also. The stockers probably wont last. Spicer Ball joints are very good so far.

Just Empty Every Pocket. I think I'm probably at the low end at ~25K compared to where things are going. Is there a Hemi on the horizon? Probably not, but this is the way as they say.

Since the electrical system I want to add will be more than $1500, the next thing on my list in that price range would be 35" KO2 ATs.
