No leave and use it factory awesome! You just need 2 Lithium batteries from Antigravity. I have mine so far a 1 year. I wrote about it in my build thread. Even has backup system so you never get stranded.

Those are the batteries that have built-in charge management - meaning they adapt the intelligent charging of the Jeep to meet the actual needs of the lithium batteries - and a low-voltage reserve or cutoff?
Yours must be one of those I read about.

SoCal - I wonder about Toronto, Anchorage, St.. Paul, and other locations......... any take?

All batteries I have based on lithium anything drop huge capacity when it gets cold - eBikes, drone batteries, 4xe batteries, you name it.

Yes, it’s automotive start Battery BMS, but the most advanced one and the only one I would ever trust. And antigravity is a supplier to government.

You might want to check on their site, but I believe it works in the cold as well by keeping itself warm.

In an interesting twist of related events: I just got back from an India work trip and found my Jeep wouldn't start. Grabbed the DMM and found one battery to be about 12.5v and the other to be...7.5v.

Made use of the Genesis v3 board and manually "connected" the two batteries together (via the switch) and it started right up.

After driving around a bit, I switched it back to "Auto". Somewhat unexpectedly, since then (yesterday) I have not had the "Aux Switches Unavailable" error.

Just joined the club today( Aux delete) . I will first say the NOCO jump starter worked awesome. Had to jump it like 5 different times because the battery crapped out at the worst time. I’ve had the A on the dash for months so I knew it was coming. Dealership quoted me 785 plus tax to do both, thankfully they were out of stock of the main battery. Called a local shop and they couldn’t get me in until Wednesday. I had a lot of kid stuff going on so just wanted it fixed on Saturday to get it done. Ended up just throwing a Walmart special in there for 179 this morning with an 4 year warranty and got it done before my son’s first soccer game. The battery was bigger than my OE battery so I had to take out the spacer for it to fit. 2021 purchased in January of 21 with 38k on the dash. Must of lucked out with good batteries to last 4.5 years. Can I buy another battery cover to fit the larger one? Is it a big deal to not have the heat cover on the battery?

I'm in South Carolina where it gets hot-hot-hot. My Walmart battery is not covered and it has not been a problem. Covers are available if you feel the need. I'd check Amazon.

Amazon.com : h7 battery cover
