That’s probably what I’ll do after we cancel this. Since I already had the account with Quadratec


So, to be fair, here’s an update. I called AMEX to cancel the order yesterday, and the account rep said they didn’t show a charge to Quadratec. “Great”, I thought, I’ll have to call CS and sit on hold in the morning until someone picks up to cancel this. After about 20 minutes, I got Caitlin on the line. Gave her the order number and she said, “Hmm, this should already have shipped. Let me look into it.” I stayed on the line and she said the billing dept. had put a “security hold” on it. I asked her what that was about, and she didn’t know. She said the credit card info was fine, the address was fine, it’s in stock, and if I didn’t want to cancel would ship out today. For my trouble, she gave me a $50 gift coupon. So, I figured, what the heck… I can still call back and cancel if if it doesn’t ship on time. Lo and behold, I got a FedEx shipping number in my inbox and it’s supposed to arrive Friday. (Let’s hope undamaged!). I doubt I’ll be ordering from them again except to use the gift coupon, but it seemed like I had nothing to lose at this point by letting them fulfill the order. I’ll update (and post pictures of the install) once it arrives!
Did you get your delivery yesterday?

We aren’t home but we have someone staying at the house watching the dog. FedEx tracking shows it was delivered- I’ll check with our house/dog sitter and verify it arrived ok!

Has anyone ordered Rock Hard Patriot Series sliders through Quadratec in the past few months? Just curious if you received them or not. Ordered back in April and as of April 14th they show “in shipping (3rd party)”. Tried getting ahold of Rock Hard also with no success.
Anybody order these from anywhere and received them? Thanks

Has anyone ordered Rock Hard Patriot Series sliders through Quadratec in the past few months? Just curious if you received them or not. Ordered back in April and as of April 14th they show “in shipping (3rd party)”. Tried getting ahold of Rock Hard also with no success.
Anybody order these from anywhere and received them? Thanks
I haven't ordered any of my Rock Hard stuff from QT, but I know that the reseller puts in the order to RH and they start the build. Once completed RH boxes and pallets the item and they have a LTL carrier pick up.

My front bumper got lost in the system between Northridge and RH, I called RH direct and they told me it was on a truck and in Indianapolis awaiting MY response. RH gave me the name of LTL and I called them and it took them almost a day to find it in their warehouse.

So I do know there are disconnects between RH and their retailers.

So Jack Shit from Quadratec on my April 14 order for my sliders. Spent around $1700 that day and everything came in within a week except for the Diver Down seat covers that took almost two weeks, and of course my Rock Hard Patriot sliders.
Two hours of BS with Qtec robot and customer service got me nowhere. Finally figured fugit I’ll try Rock Hard again. This was last Friday. Forget the gentleman’s name at RH but it seemed like a one man show.? I’m sure they’re not, but all was quiet in the background when I called and explained that it had been over two months since I ordered some of his sliders. Gave him my info and surprise, nowhere to be found. He asked if he could call back, notta problem.
15 minutes go by, phone rings, same gentleman, sorry I forgot his name, would like to give him props, says he got ahold of Qtec and my sliders should go out in the next 2-3 days.
Looks to me like Quadratec never put my order in with Rock Hard.
Anyway, I get a call this morning from a delivery service to set up a drop off appointment. They are 40 miles away right now but my Gladiator is somewhere between SLC and Boise so no big rush! Sliders will be here in a couple days, thanks to Rock Hard.
Why so hard for Quadratec to actually create a valid order?

It is so sad to see what was once a go to company for parts sh$t the bed so bad and fall to a place so low on the pecking order of where to order from. Ace, you will love your RH sliders. Their parts are awesome.

I hate to pile on, but I need to add an amen to this. I had an issue with a Mopar sun bonnet I ordered, and the customer service experience at @Quadratec was extremely poor. Hours on hold, promises of help that never came, and weeks of silence in spite of calls and emails.

Oddly, the one rep I talked with was very understanding and promised quick action, even gave me his direct contact info. He just immediately disappeared. Weeks after I gave up another rep emailed me, apologized, and promised to resolve the isssue. Then she disappeared too. It’s been weeks more now and total silence.

I think somewhere in there they’re trying to survive, but either Covid or a catastrophic system overhaul has effectively paralyzed them. It’s a shame. I’ve used them as a fairly reliable option for years, but I think we might be watching an industry giant burn out. Either that, or their business model has switched to complete predatory mode. I’d hate to think it’s the latter.

Just an update. Pretty much out of nowhere, after I'd given up, I got an email from "Lorraine" at @Quadratec two weeks ago promising that FedEx would sent me a label and they'd offer a refund. Honestly, I was thrilled to get anything back. Still haven't received the label, but I'm looking out for it.
Label was received and package was brought to FedEx today for return. It's been a huge hassle, but is @Quadratec actually pays me back on this, they'll at least get me to look at their products again. Which is good, because I miss watching Rob.
