Well its officially unofficial that Jeep is contemplating bringing to market the same tech that the upcoming Hummer truck will have. They are currently trying to determine if it would have enough interest and what price point to put it at.

Personally, I may be underpricing but I said I would pay around $1,500 for this feature. Would you pay more or less to have a tighter turn radius and the ability to "crab walk"?

Well, I don't know if anyone can technically disclose the source. However, I guarantee others here in our community can/will at least confirm that this is not a rumor.

I wouldn't want the weight and extra parts and pieces to break. Talk about a hit to towing capacity, too!

Line lock I can see, that's probably just software.

I can do front brakes locked with the Tazer, I'm sure they just ported it over from the Challenger feature set. Yeah, I want to do a burnout on my BFG's, hahahah!

Seems like GMC went down that path some years ago, for a short time.
I would appreciate a tighter turning radius, and increased trailer backing capability, as long as its reliable.

Not interested. I purchased a Base model for simplicity for a reason. Keep it simple as possible.

Yeah, back in the early 2Ks Chevy offered "Quadrasteer" on the 1500, and it cost close to $6k more. I don't see it as a viable option.

Other than prestige/ego/showing off, I would have no use for this.
And I believe this would start out as a $2500.00 to 3k option.

Can you imagine this ? I bet it is more expensive that anyone will think but that is likely the cheapest part ...

Imagine fixing it ? I can see trips and repeated trips and thousands of dollars ..

Nope, gimmickey ... High tech computer controlled stuff with actuators etc ... Nope, Gimme my simple JEEP with a mechanical transfer case and 4 wheels ....

Zero interest ...
