Not really the route I would have gone. How about a jeep riding around on Mars? Or a guy touring Alaska with a bear as his passenger. They could also just blast through a bunch of mud (voiding the warranty of course). Seriously though fill those 30 seconds with anything that helps me forget that the mess of a year that was 2020 happened. IMO the vibe of this commercial is the exact opposite of the way I feel when I get in my JT.

The guy in the commercial is Bruce Springsteen
lol, I’m not surprised I didn’t recognize him. I’m more of a Bob Seger fan.

I didn't recognize Springsteen either. I liked that the jeep was rusty. Truth in advertising there.

I love the commercial. The middle rocks! It's been a peaceful couple of weeks in my heart, and a welcome calm after all the hullabaloo. Washed my truck by hand yesterday in the land of the free and the home of the brave, and it was good.

This is why I’m really hesitant to even watch the super bowl. It’s just going to be several hours of political BS.

Jeep can’t even do a commercial that shows a current product off roading...

At least we have forums to air our grievances :)

I love that the Jeep community is made of a broad collection of folks - I'm sure this thread will represent that.

Made me think about how a month from now I get to go see my parents in Kentucky. They'll have their vaccines, we'll cook some BBQ, and I'll have a sting gray JTRD waiting for me on the Gupton lot. Can't f-ing wait.

I thought the commercial was fine. The message of unity is something we need as a country. Didn’t necessarily need it to come from Jeep but whatever. There’s bigger issues to worry about than getting worked up about a Jeep commercial.

I know...imagine if conservatives would have reacted to Biden’s “win“ like the liberal‘s did to Trump‘s.....

Jeep needs to stick to their mission, making the best off road capable cars with an unique character that separates a Jeep from anything else on the road. Just stick to that message.

I don't buy a car from a company because of their political stance. I could care less about it.

Gillette lost a lot of customers with their spectacular fail of an ad campaign, as did P&G and Nike.

Stick to your product and mission and don't preach your wokeness. I don't care. The only thing it'll do is alternate people.

Think about it, you pander to one side, you already got them anyway, those who like your products already buy them. You're unlikely to add a lot of sales to that audience, aside from a few that maybe didn't think of your product. But you end up alienating the other side which would account for a lot more net loss in sales than what you can gain from the side you already have anyway.

Makes no sense.

Personally, I think the first minute of Locash "C.O.U.N.T.R.Y." is the best commercial for any Jeep product.

This is a terrific forum. We've said it all. We argy'd it out. Said our pieces. I got canceled a few times on here and don't mind if I do. America. The Beautiful. Same as it ever was. We needed all that happened. Every bit of the last three months were meaningful as hell, real stuff, nothing fake about it. How we sort it out again for this decade is up to us. All good in my book. And my Jeep truck, same age as me, was there for the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's, and the god awful 2020. Washing all those years by hand, mulling it over at sunset in Arizona, was great yesterday. Awesome. Figure we just need to press on. Glorious times we live in, for those who are in the good fight for the heart and soul of our great nation. Glad to have the chance to fulfill my duty as a citizen to uphold what I believe is great about the USA.
