Currently the Jeep SFA is really the only off road advantage it has over other brands. If the SFA goes away, I would just look at other brands. Most likely a Tacoma. If I have to buy a IFS vehicle I might as well buy a proven IFS system.
Jeep isn't going to move away from the SFA, especially in the Rubicon and a few other trim packages, but I can definitely see them introducing IFS in certain Wrangler based models. If I had to guess, 75% of Jeep buyers would prefer IFS. @NC_Overland said it best:

It’s not so much the ride for me, it’s the steering and handling. My jeep rides great and handles fine, but my 2018 Colorado and my 2017 Canyon before it handle like sports cars in comparison. Night and day improvement. They handle better than a lot of cars.
I think Jeep knows that if they want to broaden their appeal and increase sales, then they need to be competitive with the other brands. I absolutely love my Jeep Gladiator, but I wouldn't want to daily drive it. I want something comfortable like Chevy/GMC Colorado/Canyon, but still maintain off-road capability. I think the Scrambler is going to that vehicle. The downside is that it will have a very high price tag since it will be designed/marketed for high-end buyers.

I’ve heard nothing but terrible things about that hybrid system, but the Tacoma is available without it.
It is but not in the Trailhunter or TRD Pro trims- they're exclusively hybrids, and seems like the local Toyota stores were only stocking base models and hybrids at the time.

Besides that, I had to see if the weird vibration i got on the 4R and LC was on it too. It was. And i've sat on bus benches more comfortable than those God awful Tacoma seats.

If Toyota came to its senses and threw the twin turbo V6 from the GX into the LC, 4R and Tacoma and gave them better seats it would be a game changer...

That engine has its problems too, but I do love the new GX with that drivetrain. I’m not even remotely a Toyota guy.

Things aren't confirmed until someone from Stellantis goes on record and say's, "this is what it is"

That hasn't happened with the Dakota at all, or the Scrambler.

As usual, what has happened, is a bunch of "news sources" have quoted each other in a circle jerk of click bait, and now everything from IFS to Hemi's to IRS Wranglers and Mr Fusion powered Compass's is "confirmed"

Retired. Beach bum.
It would be great to see the Scrambler pay homage to the original, a two door, 4 seat with a 6’ bed this time around. Have the 3.6 standard with automatic, new 2.0 Hurricane optionally available. With a beefed up Max Tow/Payload. Oh and have the rear seats removable, or fold a tumble, with a movable bulkhead to go behind it, to separate the bed space.

The Scrambler is a "halo car" who's now immediate job is to bring the investors and Mopar community some positivity after the Stellantis $26.3 billion loss in 2025.

I think this is also an indication that the JL/JT are going to be around until at least 2030+ and if they can do meaningful upgrades like add the Anvil 715 front end, then I'm all for it.

So, I've asked, other suppliers, people inside, and heard third hand..

It's a 2 door Wrangler with a half cab and bulkhead. Not drastically new, mostly off the shelf stuff.

No indications of a different front clip.

I will say these people are not car people, so... They mess shit up all the time.

Fixed it ;)

Honestly that's all we can expect at this stage in the game. I've owned a lot of different brands and only recently (2020) joined the Stellantis stable, but I will say they're very good at using OTS parts to make something "new".

I'm not a Stellantis apologist, but they've basically given the finger to focusing on EVs (although they have several coming) and are now doubling down on V8s. That's essentially the automotive equivalent of the rebel yell and an aggressive crotch grab. 😆
