JTRD broken in TX

Latest update now the charging system isn’t working. Jeep has to say in TX no escalated to warranty work. Throwing several codes going into limp mode. Only charging at 12.9. Any info help now? @JeepCares maybe? No clue now looking at rental car.

Call them directly get a case going ask for a rental. Make sure you get something out of the Gladiator not being in your possession. I chose the additional warranty that was offered. Granted mine was gone for 45 days with a blown fuel pump. Good luck

Well only place open for rental is Dfw. Jeep care stated 3 day rental at $40 dollars only rental I can get is $140 a day. So now no clue

Dealerships love to blame fuel issues on bad fuel ( your fault and not covered by the warrenty). This was common on the CP4 failures on the Duramax. They want to blame the issue on the customer. I hate it for you. I hope it is a simple problem.

They should cover the cost! They did for mine in full with nothing out of pocket. The Jeep dealer doesn't have any loaners?

Hey Free, we rented a vehicle from the dealership to go to DFW to get a Hertz rental vehicle to get back home. But everything is out of pocket. Jeep care stated to keep receipts for possible reimbursement. So nope no loaner nothing but stranded and Jeep cares is now closed.

I'm not sure how your battery charging system is related to fuel and not covered under warranty, but I had an electronics issue thay gave similar messages due to a bad STAR connector behind my glove box and/or bad TCM which required a valve body replacement( who knows) all covered under warranty. The first time it happened, I was able to re-seat the cable/s to my ECM and get out of limp mode to get home. It very well could be the misaligned heat shield from the other thread also. My best advice is to be diligent with the dealership and don't take the first answer youbget if it doesn't seem right; you have to be your own advocate. Good luck! And keep us posted.

Hahah I asked the same thing JTR. dang a whole valve body replacement. Dealership and Jeep Cars so far have been Good.

Ok Ladies and Gents. So got a rental made it back home. Gladdy Stayed in TX. This morning I received calls from the dealership on updates stating that they have escalated and opened a case. They are only saying it is throwing code after code. Jeep Cares called assigned me a case manger she has been great, started the reimbursement for rentals, Yes had to get two of them smh. She also got me started on a rental here locally while I wait for an update on the Gladdy. add salt to the wound I arrived home and received My Clayton Springs, Metalcloak Track bars, sway bar links, red sport shocks. My ARB diff Covers, all just waiting in the Gladdys return so she can be lifted. Thanks again for everyones insight. This is why I love Jeeps.

So here is the update. Got called from dealership vehicle was ready for pick up. 26 days later, they changed out both batteries the alternator and intake cooler. All this was also under a Star Case. Flew into Dallas took an uber an hour south to the dealership picked up vehicle head back home to NM. Well one hour north of Dallas CEL comes back on I pulled the code P20EE Started getting all sorts of errors DPF 80% full, 90% full and 100% full then it would go back down to 90%, 80% and so on needless to say It is back at the dealership but at least its local now. Jeep Cares started off strong with my first case manger she got me my money for rental right away, I now have a new case manager and am several grand in the hole with rentals and haven't been sent any reimbursements other then the very first rental of when I broke down. Sorry if this is a jumbled mess as I am thumb massaging my phone haha. but I think its important to keep everyone up to date as best as I can.

Latest update. Dealership called stated they found a bad DPF sensor waiting on parts 7-14 days out on sensor before moving on to the next step. Negative on DPF being clogged.

New Update Sensor has been Changed. didn't fix the problem now ordering a New PCM. So now I have been without the Gladdy Since June 21. I haven't received any form of payment from Jeep Cares other then the First emergency rental to get back home. First case manager was awesome with that process, after that I have a new case manager and I have not had anything come in. I have submitted paper work 3 times now, anyone have any Ideas how to get Jeep Cares to move on this?

Good Morning. Keeping the updates coming its a good way for me to have a record of what happened. So PCM was installed re-flashed same CEL codes. Dealer stated DPF has a small hole in it. New DPF on order will arrive 10-15 days.
