So within 5 minutes of my email to Daniel, asking if I got my VIN. Daniel replies! Thanks to you 1996XJ! So I got my VIN.... Now what do I do?

Glad to hear that! You can jump on jeeps website go to the contact section and select the chat option (depending on the time of day) to see where your build is at. Mine went pretty fast. I was expecting it to take forever but before i knew it, she was shipped out.

So I just got off Jeep Chat per your instructions. I am told all my parts have been gathered and production will start soon Like you said, it seems I will be going to Tennessee sooner than later! Again, THANKS!!!

UPDATE: I got a follow up email from JEEP. I am told Gupton should have my Mojave on FEB. 23 Ordered 12/31 planning on a trip to Tennessee end of FEB or first week of MAR. Not bad at all, about 2 months turnaround during these times!

Very excited. Just placed my order in yesterday. Lots of firsts for me:

- First new vehicle (actually, first vehicle I will have ever owned with under 50K miles on it)
- First Jeep
- First vehicle with 4WD
- First truck

Ended up with a fairly well optioned Mojave in Sarge Green. My dealer said it may take up to 4 weeks months, fingers crossed it comes earlier!

Same thing I was thinking but didn't want to throw the first brick and dash the guy's hopes. I am looking at 2 months, and I was very happy/hopeful ... without expectations!

I ordered Jan 13th and was told 3-4 months at the time. Just heard back from Jeep/Dealer and it's already in Trim and looking like it might make it mid-Feb. If it does, I should probably go buy a lotto ticket while I'm at it.

Jeep is ordered, I went back and forth on a few options on wether I wanted them or not etc and with the help of this board I believe I got the best fit for our family..... I was really frustrated that you can not get the Spray in bed liner with a Rubicon Diesel that makes no sense to me whatsoever but I can have that done.... So hopefully 8-12 weeks from now I will be rolling down the trail....

That's weird. My dealer told me they send them out for spray-ins after delivery. Maybe you can have them do that, so you can wrap it into the overall cost?

Lots of strange combo prohibitions. I was told only standard silver sport wheels on the max tow, no optional black wheels. Why?! They are bolt-on, and the same dimensions. And I'm offering to pay extra? Maybe they are trying to get rid of them? Not a hotel deal, just irritating and seemingly pointless.

Gupton told me the same thing about the bedliner on the Rubicon diesel. Makes no sense why only on the diesel. Not a deal breaker though. I am proceeding with my order. Just waiting on them to send the deposit info.
