Kick plate options to keep off scuffs

What’s the best option for protection in the door sills? Is there an option that doesn’t look silly that protects the exterior below the doors? With kids I’m worried about it getting beat up w scratches.

Bushwacker fender flare maker has some that stick on that look good and you don’t have to drill any holes in the side of your gladiator

I just put on the mopar door sill protectors. They look good, the truck handles better, and I've seen a slight increase in my mpg

I have those as well, they were the only ones I could find that covered the entire painted area of the sill, especially the top edge that takes the majority of the abuse.

I tried them and the door didn't seal around it well. Did the seal deform enough over time to not allow any light in or water?

I cut some XPEL paint protection film and applied it to all 4 door entry areas. I can always remove and reapply if it gets beat up.

I have no issues with the door seal in the area where the sill protector is.

I used R3 Off Road sill protectors. Basically invisible and protects below the door.
