The one Rob unboxed even came with the winch plate.
They do come with a winch plate.
And a nifty swing-up license plate bracket if you choose to use it with a winch.

He's right. There are no instructions, just a parts list in Chinese.
The first parts he pulled out were the bar and the winch plate.
There are two brackets that go to the winch plate.
The holes on the front center above the winch cable opening, those are for the license plate bracket it comes with.
There are other holes no JT owner will use - for park sensors that the JT doesn't come with anyway. You buy plugs from Amazon to plug those holes.
He was also pointing to handle nuts like used to install the front receiver such as I installed on my truck. The handle lets you stick the nut into the frame and then keeps it from turning in the frame.

I just installed one of these bumpers last weekend. I swapped out the tow hooks because the ones included with the bumper would chip at the slightest thing and didn't look as finished as the originals. I also opted to use the included brackets to install my factory LED fog lights. The ones included with the bumper look nice though. The light mount also got repainted because I wasn't thrilled with how it looked. I used body shims between the back of the winch plate and the frame mount to push everything out as my winch was really tight to the grill (about 1/16th clearance). The Rubicon skid plate also benefited from the spacing. I did trim the bottom back edge of the bumper a tiny bit to get the skid plate to tuck a little better. I also drilled new holes for the top bolts in the skid plate rather than start butchering things with the wheel-o-death. I have factory fog light bezels on order if Quadratec will ever ship them.

Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's a BIG improvement over the factory plastic bumper.

Robmotive on Youtube just unboxed one of these, it looked pretty good coming out of the box. Waiting on his install video to see if it installs without issue and how it looks.
It even came with the led fogs I believe. My concern is the rust factor on the steel am.

I really like how that looks on your friend there. NICE.
I have seen where several people used their original hooks because of the finish - why not?
Some have even said the LED fog lights that come with the bumper are decent - I'd use my own since they are LED and keep those as spares, perhaps, if I were to go this route. (and not being able to find a take-off, this may be my only option)

Nice - the bar, all of it, compliments that Jeep.

If there's future rust, I'd either take it off and paint it with automotive paint, or powder coat it.

I see where the company that sells these also has a steel rear bumper. Any experience or knowledge about these?

Since you installed the winch (many have not) what did you think of the winch plate? The heft, strength, etc.?

I will watch it closely the first time I use it, but I think it will be fine. I haven't seen the Warn plate or others in the flesh so it's hard to compare. It is pretty heavy and seems rock solid when bolted in place.

Sorry, he has two channels. This one is RobMotiveJT. Unbox was yesterday. Waiting for the install.

If that guy isnt smart enough to figure out what the winch plate is I am not sure I would put a whole lot of faith in his opinion. During the unboxing he pointed to it multiple times and acted clueless as to its purpose. The hole pattern on the large flat surface for the winch to bolt to is clear as day.

Yeah, I noted that.
I thought - REALLY? Multiple times he indicated confusion over it.
I knew when he lifted it out - look at the multiple rectangular patterns there- it screams winch in shape, size and heft.
