Im curious if there is any updates on the owners who had it fixed. I thought i read two or three owners started to leak again. Does anyone have any updates? I hope it got fixed
Maybe I got lucky.

Both the service tech & the Service Manager checked the replacement seals for leakage when I took the Rubi back in. Found none. This last visit was to replace the control arm (and related parts) that was causing the 'popping' sound in the rear when backing up and turning or when driving across uneven ground or pavement.

Looks like after a whopping 300 miles I’ve got this issue on the right passenger side - circled the wet fluid but the inner wheel looks badly stained as well. At least I think that’s oil stain but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. This is a Mojave build 12-2020 with MDH 122115

That is it and looks just like mine. About the same miles on my 21 Mojave too. Dealer ordered new axle shaft but they are on back order.

Got it checked out today. Referred the dealer to this thread. They had it diagnosed in about 2 minutes and (back)ordered the axle shaft assembly 68474264-AA.

They topped off the fluid and I have the truck back but hope they get these axles in soon. Sounds like they’ve got a lot of Gladiators to address.

What are all of you using to clean the stains off the wheels?
It's just gear lube. Can use Simple Green, Dawn dish soap or any similar degreaser/cleaner.

Simple Green - that's what I used when my 04 WJ axle seal leaked onto things. It's a great grease cutter, it's green (in two ways) and doesn't hurt finishes.

Same issue here. Bought last month, noticed right away. It's been to the dealership 4 times. 1. To diagnose, 2. To replace drive shaft and break pads, 3. To be rediagnosed because it's leaking again (told it was a blocked vent pipe and fixed) and going again today to be rediagnosed for the 3rd time since it's still leaking. We live 45 minutes from the dealer, they have no loaner vehicles and their shuttle doesn't go as far as I live. Starting to feel extremely frustrated!

Count me in on the frustration. It's pretty clear this is not just a random one-off issue.

Mine was fixed once and is still leaking. I'm just not in the mood right now to schedule a follow up appointment, drive it in, drop it off, arrange someone to pick me up...only so they can look at it and say "yep its leaking" we will order the parts and schedule you on another day for the repair.

@JeepCares - When is FCA going to step up and pro-actively address this issue? Really a silly issue on a brand new vehicle....and even worse that some of us are having to make multiple dealership visits. The least you could do is help out those of us with ongoing issues by getting the part sent to the dealership and helping us to avoid a visit just to "diagnose" a visible leak.

That's exactly my frustration. 4 visits in less than a month, a 5th needed to do the repairs. At this point I feel like I have joint custody of a vehicle I paid a ridiculous amount of money for ?‍♀

Wow that is horrible to hear. Wondering if I should get prepared to buy some aftermarket axles for my Mojave. I'd rather spend a few hundred bucks than go to the dealer 4+ times. Crossing fingers they'll get this figured out soon.
