Mine goes Tuesday for the new housing hopefully 3rd times a charmGoing in for #2 on 2/1/22
Just got mine back yesterday. All in all, not too bad of a wait time, all things considered. Hopefully this is the last time my jeep is in the shop for anything but upgrades!Add me to this wonderful list. Right rear seal. The axles are of course on backorder, as we all know. I'll wait it out. The parts are ordered, and as of now, it's not leaking badly enough to be a major concern. I'm at 14700 miles. I'll drive it until the axle gets here. 2021, Rubicon. February 2021 Build Date.
I'll trade it before I go through all that. Just too much for a vehicle with under 2000 miles.Mine goes Tuesday for the new housing hopefully 3rd times a charm
The way I'm looking at it is, if I trade it in, im out money. This is the 3rd leak, 4th is contacting a lemon law lawyer and getting every bit of my money back minus the miles i have put on it. Just my view on it.I'll trade it before I go through all that. Just too much for a vehicle with under 2000 miles.
Not sure how lucky everyone else has been on a lemon law case but in my 1 attempt a few years back I netted next to nothing after the lawyers were paid. I just ended up trading in the vehicle after wasting a year for my case to close. Perhaps it's just my experience but I would recommend pursuing that option at last resort, if at all.The way I'm looking at it is, if I trade it in, im out money. I'm not sure, in NC 4 attempts to fix or to be with out your car for more than 20 consecutive days. I'm trying that before I attempt to trade it. This is the first new vehicle I have ever owned, and for the amount of money I spent on this thing I am kinda disappointed at this point. All ove ever owned is old shit boxes and I've never had this much trouble ??Not sure how lucky everyone else has been on a lemon law case but in my 1 attempt a few years back I netted next to nothing after the lawyers were paid. With old shitboxes, someone else got to work out the kinks first haha.I'm not sure, in NC 4 attempts to fix or to be with out your car for more than 20 consecutive days. I am in Bama as well. Took mine to Hendrick Jeep in Hoover today and they ordered the parts. Mind telling me which dealership you used? TIA.2021 Sport Max Tow, build date 7-21. RR axle seal leak. Noticed the leak around 3,500 miles. Dealership confirmed seal was leaking at the first service. Ordered parts on December 4th, got the call yesterday that they have received all the parts to make the repair. Dropping my JT off in the morning. Hopefully this will fix my problem. Will definitely be keeping a eye on it to make sure the axle seal doesn’t start leaking/ seeping after only a few hundred miles. Best of luck to all the other frustrated JT owners that keep having this axle leak.
I used Hendrick, so far the fix is holding up. Once my parts arrived they called and got me in to make the repair. Didn’t have to leave my truck overnight or anything. Only negative was they didn’t clean the gear oil and road grime off the wheel and break dust cover. Hopefully your parts will come in over the next couple weeks. They will get it fixed for you.I am in Bama as well. Took mine to Hendrick Jeep in Hoover today and they ordered the parts. Mind telling me which dealership you used? TIA.
It took about 4 weeks for the parts to arrive for my truck. Check in with the parts department at Hendrick in a week or so if you haven’t heard from them about an ETA on the parts.I used Hendrick, so far the fix is holding up. They can't. Well, they can try, but they'd lose in most cases.Has anyone with a lift and larger tires run into any issues with the dealer challenging the warranty claim because of modifications?
