My supernova fogs came today and are in. Here’s a few pics. I didn’t put the covers back on the bumper as I like the look of no section between fender and bumper, looks more rugged. Can the fans on these fogs get wet??

I've just read like 30 times you're not supposed to do what you're doing (LED bulbs in halogen projector housings) due to blinding oncoming traffic. The beam patterns look pretty good, but I don't know how well the cutoff actually cuts off the beam for oncoming traffic.

King, you are going to piss people off. It's a Jeep thing. Round headlights. Sits high. Bounces. All eye catchers to oncoming traffic. Just flash em the brights back to let them know what bright is. It's better than before, but you are still driving a badass truck and old fogeys will flash you because, well, old fogeys. It makes the Jeep Wave more appreciable.

They will but i think you need the LED package for them to work. If no LEDs then you will need an adapter and tazer to make them work correctly

The JL sport vs Sahara and Rubicons have a 4 wire connector vs the 3 wire in the Sports

WAIT......you're saying the $90 LED bulbs people are buying from the information in this thread won't work in our JTs stock, unless you have a tazer?

I was replying to the guy asking about the Morimoto sequential LED running lights for the fenders. those are not just a bulb but the entire housing replacement.


Just to add the bulbs on this thread seem to be working good but i know over on the JL forums some still need a tazer to stop the slight flickering. Seems some JLs and some bulbs dont play 100% nice with each other. Same bulb and same options on 2 jeeps they might not be 100% PNP.

The LED package is more than just the headlights. Having the LED fender lights makes the options for aftermarket lighting on those open up a lot. The slim line fender lights and the Morimoto ones just to mention a few.
