Big intercooler, big honkin' turbo, 6" Exhaust (out of the bed) so we sound like semi trucks (just like the F350 guys like to do).

on second thought - scrap that - nice quiet diesel would be much much better.......

I know people who goof around with trying to upgrade their diesels. It usually does more harm than good.
That what I keep seeing. Now I’m thinking hopefully it won’t need it with all that torque.

A light tune does wonders for a Diesel, typically increased power AND increased economy. It's super easy to go crazy with a diesel and either make it too loud, too powerful for the transmission, too fuel hungry for the stock setup, etc. though. EFI Live's base daily driver type tunes are fantastic.

Sign me up as long as it doesn't mess with anything too much. I'll check it out!

Here's an article from Allpar.
https://www.allpar.com/mopar/V6/VM-RA-diesel.html

This is what's new.
Starting in 2019, the VM 3-liter V6 will have a new turbocharger with a low-friction bearing, low-friction pistons, a new injector nozzle, new piston bowl, and glow plugs with integrated combustion pressure sensors, to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.

Any thoughts????

I was expecting more pitting and general lankiness on those exhaust side vanes - this is actually pretty impressive for 100k miles.

It's almost 200,000 miles. Even better, right?

I drive 40,000 + miles/year for work so I will definitely be getting the diesel.
What mileage is predicted for this engine and this truck?
