What would you consider as the top 3 quality Lift kit brands, and the top 2 to stay away from?

In for the hurt feelings but I would put Skyjacker and Rough Country on the bottom two. They both tend to market and sell on price point which usually means their kits will be lacking in quality shocks or missing other items like adjustable track bars or end links that are usually bundled in other brand kits.

Metalcloak, EVO and Clayton with Teraflex or AEV as a honorable mention in my list of up top.

Keep in mind that any ranking is subjective and the equivalent of asking what the best motor oil is to use? You are going to get a shit story from any brand out there from somebody.

Look around and research long enough that you are going to see which brands are for putting in the work and which ones are for the show only crowd and each is going to be priced accordingly.

I have tried many different spring including Factory Rubicon, Mettacloak and others.
After installing EVO PLUSH RIDE SPRINGS I found what I was looking for.
I first went with 2.5 and now running 4.5 with Fox 2.5 shocks and 38 Milestar Patagonia tires.
Every time I drive my Willys I am amazed at the ride both on and off road compared to my Wife's factory Rubicon with 1/2 spring spacer, Fox 2.0 on 35 tires.

RockJock, then Rock Krawler, and then MetalCloak if you are on a budget. Tera Flex, Clayton and Evo are solid companies with great products as well. See which on suits your needs.

For the gladiator I'd have to say rockkrawler number 1 and only because metalcloak doesn't offer a triangulated rear 4 link. On my mojave I run metalcloak springs and the rockkrawler rear 4 link. I'd say Clayton if you plan to run a heavy/overland style build.

Of course, lift systems would depend on intended use. Take my example to where I replaced the already fabulous Mohave suspension and had the identical system Brad of Adventure Recon had installed by Shift Auto & Off Road out of Escondido, CA. It's the AEV 3" lift with Bilstein 8100s. This system is tailored for heavy, overlanding. I also installed the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 35 X 11.5 R17 E rated. I will also be doing a Performance polished re-gear to 4.88. I realize that doing what I did should have been performed on a Rubi or Sport as opposed to my Mohave but, it is what it is and now I have Mohave OEM springs and the OEM 2.0 Fox complete shock assemblies for sale. They have 15k miles on them. I heard Mopar will be using the AEV suspension upgrades for their dealer special upgrades nationwide. This has resulted in AEV's customer service to be lacking so, beware.

I have always liked AEV lift kits. Had one on my 2012 wrangler and performed well. I did end up going with the mopar lift for my gladiator though. Mostly because its still under warranty. I also like old man emu lifts. not sure if they have a kit for the gladiator but I did the 2 inch lift on my Grand Cherokee and it is great offroad. I would mainly stay away from any kits made in china.

that is is a fair evaluation, I would say in the 90's sky jacker was the Go to for leaf springs rig Its almost comical how bad they have got

even though i have Teraflex (price point on my JT I would put BDS above them

So I have to put in a word for my Synergy suspension parts. As you see I have it all. It's all top quality. Easily adjusts. Will be adding the Rock Crawler 4 link in the rear then it will be done.

Or do like I did. Look around and see who is using what kits and parts from different companies. Then piece together from those companies what you want. A Franken lift. All of my control arms, steering linkage and front track bar is from Core 4x4 because I wanted Johnny joints. The rear track bar is a bent Clayton, only because Core doesn't offer a bent rear bar. Front and rear geo brackets are Teraflex. Springs are Clayton.

To each is own.

I went with Synergy because it all adjusts easily without removing it. Their suite has lots of info on their springs with a lifetime warranty. I hear they are going to build a 4 link triangle rear kit. .

You have to ask yourself what do you need the lift for.
Looks only, hard off road, overland, big tires.
Im only putting in a 3/4 inch puck lift and bilstien 5100 and will move to P285/70 tires.
