Yea that's what I plan to do, while watching for tire contact at full lock and extension. Wish I caught it before needing new lines but at least it's an upgrade now..Maybe you can bend the bracket attaching to the LCA slightly to pull the line away from the UCA?
If you can save the stock lines then I would bend the bracket out a little on the control arm, just flex and turn the wheels to check clearance. Mine were pretty worn so I replaced.I noticed the same thing happening on mine today. Found this thread as I was getting ready to post my own.
I have the AEV rt kit. After install it wasn’t an issue. Been doing some heavy off roading lately and I’m wondering if flexing out to near full extension has caused them to bend in for some reason.
The lines look fine but I’m trying to figure it what I need to do to stop it from continuing. Any more ideas on simple fixes?
