Thanks for the replies everyone, glad to hear the good news, I’ll be looking to try out a super beginner course in the near future!

I've searched the forum and can't seem to find a similar question, apologies if this is too close to an existing post(I'm happy to view the post if one exists already)I initially got my gladiator because I've wanted a jeep since college(20ish years), and at this point in my life, I need a truck for camping etc. Now, I'm in this seemingly very capable offroad vehicle and I find myself getting bit by the offroad bug. Not wanting to wait for a central IL winter to put her into 4 high, I often feel tempted to veer off and splash random puddles of mud when driving kids to school etc. How capable is my stock sport S of going to a light offroad park (think 1-2 trail difficulty)? I'm not looking to have to be winched out of streams, just sling a little mud up the sides, but I don't want to travel a few hrs to an offroad park in IL, if it's not something I can safely do.
Absolutely more than capable. Many off us spend thousands of $$$ on mods just so that we can go on 5% more trails than a stock Jeep. You will be totally fine.

A stock Gladiator is a lot more capable than you are most likely. This guy pushed it pretty well.
