Stock 2020 Rubicon with auto and 33" tires. I have an oil separator and an open breather cap on the oil fill. 1 hour commute to work (one way). I get a solid 20 according to the computer. It will improve a lot when you get about 18K miles. I do think the breather cap and oil separator help the motor rev a little easier but this will generate a lot of hate on this forum, just wait. If I drive it like I stole it the milage actually improves a little bit. Just give it some time, an oil separator and an open breather.

Try not taking off too easy off the line, lower rpm and slower acceleration doesn’t always mean more fuel savings. Sometimes a shorter time spent on faster acceleration to your cruising speed means more fuel savings. Experiment and observe your best live mpg vs every gear it’s in.
I’ve been experimenting with this very thing since making this post. I’m having more fun driving it and getting negligibly higher MPG! Who knew. I guess you did! There was one other guy on this thread who pitched this idea as well.

Good to see what everyone else is getting for comparison. Just picked up my 22 Mojave a few weeks ago and still have under 1k miles and currently at 16.4 mpg. I reset on the last fill up and got on the highway and was getting 20+. Went down to the current 16.4 after a couple days of driving to the office on 35 mph city roads. Was low 13s before fill up and reset. This is all based on computer not manual calculation.

I just bought the 2020 Overland on the 14th of February this year. I traded my 2011 cts performance coupe for this awesome jeep.

I'm at 25k miles now on my '21 Mojave. I've averaged anywhere between 13 - 17 mpg depending on the conditions. A few less now that I have 35's on it.
same here. I average about 17mpg with summer fuel blends and shedding my winter rack, gear and hard top with liner and butyl sound insulation. I’m at 14.5mpg with my winter gear and fuel blends. I am lifted with 12.5x35s and heavy duty rock rails steel bumper lightweight winch etc.

Started with about 18.2 with MTs and then at 4100 miles changed to Goodyear Duratrak(first time with these tires) and now get 18.9. Not much, but I will take the gain. Best freeway was 19.9 mpg with these tires averaging 75 mph. We got to 21 mph with a tail wind on level road( I-8 between Yuma and Gila Bend AZ) about a month ago. Phoenix area uses gas from CA! So we get both winter and summer mixtures!

So in all cases of people installing larger tires and seeing the change happen in their MPG’s, have we all calibrated the computer with the larger sizes to see an accurate dash reading?

No, you do not. Unless you are traveling at 50mph on the highway holding everyone up. Jeep rates it at 16/23.

My gas mileage is pretty horrible. I average close to 12mpg with stock wheels and tires (Mojave so ~ 33" tires). If I drive gingerly, I may be able to get 13mpg instead. In general, I'm happier driving not constantly having to monitor myself so I'm fine trading the 1mpg for a better driving experience. Most of my driving is pure city though, many times for less than 10-15 minutes at a time (so the vehicle doesn't get much time to warm up)

Best I've gotten was ~ 18.5 on pure highway driving.
This is close to what I'm getting in my stock 21 Mojave. I certainly didn't buy it for the mpg, but I do wish it was better.

I'm at 12k and when I am home I am about 90% city and sitting around 13mpg.

My best average was driving out to UT last September and I hit a max of 18.6.

That being said, I find my quality of life goes way up when I just ignore it and enjoy using it lol.
My last truck was a ram 2500 with the 6.4, so I'm used to crappy mileage lol

Not how some folks think they are getting in the high 20s with the 3.6?

Don't the Mojave's have 3.73 gears, 35 inch tires and a factory 2" lift?
The Mojave is equipped the same as the Rubicon with 4.10s and 33s.

The front is lifted 1" relative to the Rubicon so I guess 2" relative to the other models.
